202equivalents and additional information. Although the encoding schema of DiCoInfo iswritten in French for all dictionaries, their online versions are localized. The layers of theencoding model follow a schema valid for all term entries. Some of the layers containsublayers that also follow a predefined schema.configure:user 1hardware 1software 1Figure 26. Encoding schema in DiCoInfoFor example, in DiCoInfo the layer called actantial structure contains a layer calledsemantic role (role) and inside this layer there is another one called typical term (tt) (Figure26). In order to encode the data related to the frames that the terms evoke, we needed toinclude a layer of information called frame between term entry and grammaticalinformation. The tag frame includes the following sublayers: frame definition and frameelements (Figure 27). The sublayer frame elements (FE) is subdivided into core and noncore.Each core and non-core frame element is also attributed a typical term. The core FEscorrespond to the mandatory participants in the frame which are identified based on theanalysis of the verbs that profile the frame. The non-core FEs are optional participants inthe frame and are identified when the contexts of the terms are annotated. We will refer tothe annotation of the contexts in the following section.

This is the case of the information layersfeminine, variants and lexical relations. Thus, the encoding model that was used in theresearch focused on the following items of information: entry, frame, grammaticalinformation, definition, domain, actantial structure, linguistic occurrences of the actants,contexts, annotated contexts, equivalents and additional information.
