281The scenario includes two core FEs: the core FE PROTAGONIST and the core FECRIME. The PROTAGONIST can be anyone: the accused or the accuser (criminal suit), thepetitioner or the respondent (civil suit) and even the judge. The CRIME is the conduct orbehaviour that is prohibited by law. The FE CRIME is typically instantiated by termsdenoting the generic idea of crime (e.g. crime, misconduct, infringement) or by termsdenoting specific types of crime (e.g. break and enter, theft, homicide).From Table 40 we can observe that the instantiations of the FE CRIME in thecontexts in which the term commit 1 occur denote specific types of crime, whereas theinstantiations of the FE CRIME in the contexts in which the terms engage 1 , incorrer 1 andpraticar 1 occur denote the generic idea of crime.
