APPENDIX A - CHAPTER 9 PRC MINISTER OF DEFENSE TRAVEL ABROAD 2001-08 This appendix provides information from the 2002 through 2008 biennial Chinese Defense White Papers and other news media reports concerning travel by the PRC’s Minister of Defense. Altogether, the two Ministers of Defense (Generals Cao Gangchuan and Liang Guanglie) took 21 trips to 47 different countries.
