ENDNOTES - APPENDIX A - CHAPTER 10<br />

1. CNGC injected its CMI assets (all assets in Beijing North<br />

Optical-electric Company) into the public listed civil company,<br />

North Sky-bird (Beifang Tianniao), which it formerly involved in<br />

the manufacture <strong>and</strong> sale of embroidery machines. After CMI assets<br />

injection, the name of stock changed from North Sky-bird to<br />

China North Optical-Electric, Zhongbing Guangdian.<br />

2. Defense assets injection from Aerospace Times Electronic<br />

Technology Co., Ltd., <strong>and</strong> then name of stock changed from Rocket<br />

Stock to Aero-electronics in 2007.<br />

3. <strong>The</strong> five subsidiaries under Long March Launch Vehicle<br />

Tech Co. Ltd. (Shanghai Aerospace Electronics Co., Zhengzhou<br />

Aerospace Electronics Tech Co., Guilin Aerospace Electronics<br />

Co., Hangzhou Aerospace Electronics Co., <strong>and</strong> Beijing Aerospace<br />

Jintai Survey Co.) were merged by China Aerospace Times Electronics<br />

Co.<br />

4. Chongqing Aerospace New Century S<strong>at</strong>ellite Applic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Technology Co. was injected to the public listed company, Jilin<br />

Biochemistry, in 2007. After injection, in 2008 the name of stock<br />

changed from Jilin Biochemistry to Aero-engine.<br />

5. After M&A among subordin<strong>at</strong>ed of AVIC in 2009, the name<br />

of stock changed from LiYuan Yeya to AVIC Heavy Machinery.<br />

6. After 2008 when M&A became a subordin<strong>at</strong>e of CSSC, the<br />

stock received a new name of China Ship, under which it is a new<br />

company, China CSSC Holdings Limited.<br />

7. Chang’an Automobile under CSGC merged civilian assets<br />

of Dong’an <strong>and</strong> Chang’he under AVIC. AVIC plans to inject other<br />

avi<strong>at</strong>ion assets into the two public listed companies, Dong’an<br />

Auto Engine <strong>and</strong> ST Chang’he, after they sold their civilian passenger<br />

vehicle assets to Chang’an Automobile.<br />

8. R<strong>at</strong>ified by SASTIND <strong>and</strong> SASAC, awaiting approval from<br />

CSRC.<br />
