3.6.4 If Contractor again fails to establish the integrity <strong>of</strong> coating <strong>of</strong> the bored<br />

pipeline string and the same is not acceptable to Owner, the above works shall<br />

not be continued further until the cause analysed and rectified by the<br />

Contractor to the entire satisfaction <strong>of</strong> Owner.<br />

3.7 Final Hydrostatic Test<br />

3.5.1 The complete crossing section shall be tested after installation. The test<br />

pressure shall be as stipulated in the Special Conditions <strong>of</strong> Contract. After<br />

temperature stabilisation, pressure shall be retained in the pipeline for a<br />

period <strong>of</strong> 6 hours and recorded by manothermograph. The hydrostatic testing<br />

shall be carried out in accordance with approved procedures and specification<br />

detailed elsewhere in the document.<br />

3.8 Final Clean up<br />

3.8.1 After completion <strong>of</strong> construction, Contractor shall clear the site <strong>of</strong> all balance<br />

material and debris and bentonite slurry. All balance pipe lengths shall be<br />

returned to Owner’s designated stock yard(s). Site/ ROW shall be cleared to<br />

the complete satisfaction <strong>of</strong> the land owner’s and authorities having<br />

jurisdiction. All such works shall be done at no extra cost to Owner. The Owner<br />

shall be indemnified against any/ all claims arising as a result there<strong>of</strong>.<br />

4.0 DOCUMENTATION<br />

4.1 In additional to the documents specified elsewhere in this specification.<br />

Contractor shall submit to the Owner the following documents/ records.<br />

• Copies <strong>of</strong> the permits obtained from authorities having jurisdiction.<br />

• Records <strong>of</strong> pre and post installation hydrostatic testing.<br />

• Record <strong>of</strong> non-destructive testing <strong>of</strong> welds.<br />

• Clearance certificate from the land owners and authorities having<br />

jurisdiction regarding satisfactory clean-up and restoration <strong>of</strong> the pipeline<br />

ROW and work sites.<br />

4.2 After completion <strong>of</strong> construction, Contractor shall prepare and furnish six sets<br />

<strong>of</strong> copies and two sets <strong>of</strong> reproducible <strong>of</strong> `As-built’ for the crossings. As built<br />

drawings shall , as a minimum include the following information<br />
