In case of differences between the requirements of this specification and that of
the above referred codes, standards and specifications, the requirements of this
specification shall govern.
2.2 For the purpose of this specification the following definitions shall hold:
the words "Shall" and "Must" are mandatory.
the works "Should, "May" and "Will" are non-mandatory, advisory or
recommended.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS OF R.O.U. AND ACCESS THERETO
CONTRACTOR shall, before starting any clearing operations, familiarise himself
with all the requirements of the Authorities having jurisdiction over the Right of
Way for work along the pipeline route or in connection with the use of other
lands or roads for construction purpose.
CONTRACTOR shall notify COMPANY well in advance during work progress,
the method of construction for crossing road, pipeline, cable, railway, river and
other existing obstacles.
