Method : Approx. 200 mg/kg bw was administered to 10 rabbits (sex not mentioned)<br />

as single dose as solution in bicarbonate by gavage. Urine was collected<br />

over a period of 24-48 hours and the levels of free and conjugated cresol<br />

was estimated by the method of Folin O. and Ciocalteu V., J. biol. Chem.<br />

73, 627 (1927). Metabolites were identified with the method described in<br />
