Clyde “Shorty” NETTROUER, 94, Warsaw, died at 11:55 a.m. Monday at Kosciusko
Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born in Nappanee to Frank and Mary Jane (HOUSOUR) NETTROUER. He
married Elsie DOUGLASS Dec. 29, 1919. She preceded him in death in 1987.
He lived in Kosciusko County most of his life He was a member of the Harrison Center
Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances BESSON and Lillian MEREDITH, both of
Warsaw; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren;
and several step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Beulah ANDERSON and Shirley CHURCH;
two sisters, Sadie BROCK and Mae JUSTUS; and one brother, Lawrence NETTROUER.
Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Revs.
Robert KLATT ad Dennis BOLLENBACHER officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Center
Cemetery in Etna Green. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be left to the church of your choice.
Harvey Johnson
July 4, 1923 - Aril 29, 1996
Harvey JOHNSON, 72, Evansville, died at 9 a.m. Monday at Welborn Baptist Hospital in
Evansville.
He was married to his wife Edith [JOHNSON] for 53 years. She survives.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Reed Masonic Lodge No.
316, Scottish Rite, and Hadi Shrine. He served on the board of directors for the Salvation Army.
He was a self-employed paint contractor for 35 years and served in the U.S. Air Force during
World War II.
Surviving are one son, Terry JOHNSON, Salisbury, N.C.; three grandsons, Jeremy and
Nathan JOHNSON, Evansville, and Andrew JOHNSON, Salisbury, N.C.; one sister, Doris
DAWSON, Rochester; and one brother, Paul JOHNSON, Evansville.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander East Chapel with the Revs. John C.
BEATTY and Dr. James T. HEADY officiating Burial will be in the Alexander Memorial Park,
Evansville. Visitation is 3-7 p.m today at the Alexander East Chapel.
Memorials may vbe left to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
