April 21, 1902 - April 29, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Clyde “Shorty” NETTROUER, 94, Warsaw, died at 11:55 a.m. Monday at Kosciusko<br />

Community Hospital in Warsaw.<br />

He was born in Nappanee to Frank and Mary Jane (HOUSOUR) NETTROUER. He<br />

married Elsie DOUGLASS Dec. 29, 1919. She preceded him in death in 1987.<br />

He lived in Kosciusko <strong>County</strong> most of his life He was a member of the Harrison Center<br />

Church.<br />

Surviving are two daughters, Frances BESSON and Lillian MEREDITH, both of<br />

Warsaw; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren;<br />

and several step-great-grandchildren.<br />

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Beulah ANDERSON and Shirley CHURCH;<br />

two sisters, Sadie BROCK and Mae JUSTUS; and one brother, Lawrence NETTROUER.<br />

Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Revs.<br />

Robert KLATT ad Dennis BOLLENBACHER officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Center<br />

Cemetery in Etna Green. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be left to the church of your choice.<br />

Harvey Johnson<br />

July 4, 1923 - Aril 29, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Harvey JOHNSON, 72, Evansville, died at 9 a.m. Monday at Welborn Baptist Hospital in<br />

Evansville.<br />

He was married to his wife Edith [JOHNSON] for 53 years. She survives.<br />

He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Reed Masonic Lodge No.<br />

316, Scottish Rite, and Hadi Shrine. He served on the board of directors for the Salvation Army.<br />

He was a self-employed paint contractor for 35 years and served in the U.S. Air Force during<br />

World War II.<br />

Surviving are one son, Terry JOHNSON, Salisbury, N.C.; three grandsons, Jeremy and<br />

Nathan JOHNSON, Evansville, and Andrew JOHNSON, Salisbury, N.C.; one sister, Doris<br />

DAWSON, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and one brother, Paul JOHNSON, Evansville.<br />

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander East Chapel with the Revs. John C.<br />

BEATTY and Dr. James T. HEADY officiating Burial will be in the Alexander Memorial Park,<br />

Evansville. Visitation is 3-7 p.m today at the Alexander East Chapel.<br />

Memorials may vbe left to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.<br />

HospitaL.<br />

Janiece Thompson<br />

Janiece THOMPSON, 62, Lorida, Fla., formerly of Argos and Plymouth, died at noon<br />

Tuesday at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring, Fla.<br />
