Feb. 15, 1938 - April 18, <strong>1996</strong><br />

John Arthur HUFF, 58, 102 E Center St., Burket, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at his<br />

residence.<br />

He was born in Warsaw to Paul and Agnes BROWN HUFF. On Dec. 7, 1954, in Denver,<br />

he married Tona KUHN, who survives. He was a resident of Burket for 41 years, having come<br />

from Warsaw. He was a custodian at Burket Elementary School and was the Burket Town<br />

Marshal for over 20 years.<br />

He attended Burket United Methodist Church, was a member of the Burket Fire<br />

Department, an officer of Indiana Volunteer Firemens Association and past president of <strong>County</strong><br />

Firemens Associationl. He was named past “Burket Citien of the Year,” “<strong>County</strong> Fireman of the<br />

Year,” and “Burket Fireman of the Year.”<br />

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Matt (Nancy) SHAFER, Wabash; one<br />

son, Kim and wife (Jan) HUFF, Warsaw; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two<br />

sisters, Mary Alice [HUFF], Warsaw; and Ruth Ann [HUFF], Tippecanoe.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the<br />

Revs. Eric STOOPS and Don POYSER officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery.<br />

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Home<br />

Health Care and Hospice of Kosciusko <strong>County</strong>.<br />

Audra L. McKee<br />

Audra L. McKEE, 89, Winter Park, Fla., died Wednesday, April 17, in Winter Park, Fla.<br />

She was born in Mexico to Franklin and Bertha BENTZ DILLMAN. She was a resident<br />

of <strong>Rochester</strong> before moving to Florida in 1969. She was a former hotel manager in <strong>Rochester</strong>, a<br />

member of Rebekah Lodge, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and a member of Pine Castle United Methodist church,<br />

Pine Castle, Fla.<br />

Surviving are one son, Paul BRINEY, Tampa, Fla; one step-daughter, Dixie CURRY,<br />

Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pine Castle United Methodist Church, Pine Castle,<br />

Fla. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando, Fla.<br />

Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.<br />

Sarah E. Bond Brown<br />

Sarah E. BOND BROWN, 63, 1318 Washington St., died at 6:13 a.m. today at her<br />

residence, where she resided with her son Roger and wife Mary BOND.<br />

Arrangements are pending at Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Michael K. Petrosky<br />

Michael Kim PETROSKY, 39, 3643 S. Bruner Road, Warsaw, died at 3:45 p.m.<br />

Thursday in a two-vehicle automobile accident at the intersection of Kosckusko <strong>County</strong> Roads<br />

900 South and 1000 East.<br />

Arrangements are pending at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
