Mervine C. RENTSCHLER, 86, West Dunn St., Fulton, died at 8:35 a.m. Friday at
Woodlawn Hospital.
She was born in Manteno, Ill., to Louis A. and Addie A. RANTZ HUBERT. On March
1, 1930 in Rochester she married Elgy V. RENTSCHLER, who died Feb.10, 1973.
She was a member of the Fulton Baptist Temple and a former member of the Woodlawn
Hospital Board of Trustees. She was a 50-year member and past matron of the Fulton Order of
Eastern Star.
Surviving are four sons, Jim [RENTSCHLER], Metea, Ned and Phillip
[RENTSCHLER], both of Fulton, and David [RENTSCHLER], Paris, Mo.; fourteen
grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-greatgrandchildren,
and one half-sister, Lucille GREGORY, Fort Wayne. Preceding her in death was
two grandchildren, Shelly and Mike [RENTSCHLER], three brothers and one daughter-n-law,
Margaret Ann [RENTSCHLER].
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Fulton,
with the Rev. Lonnie PETERS officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Friends may
call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fulton Baptist Temple.
Marjorie K. Moriarty
Nov. 20, 1909 - Aug. 23, 1996
Marjorie K. MORIARTY, 86, 111 West South St., Argos, died at 5:35 p.m. Friday at her
home. She was in failing health.
She was born in Argos to Henry and Rosezetta Kamp KROUSE CLAY. On Feb. 9, 1929
in Argos she married C.O. MORIARTY who died Jan. 16, 1989. She lived most of her life in the
Culver and Argos communities. She was retired from Civil Services where she worked for
Selective Service Board in Plymouth. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church,
Argos.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) SMILEY, Argos; Shirley
KNEZEVICH, Argos, and Mrs Leonard (Linda J.) FULLER, Elkhart; three sons, James P.
[MORIARTY], Plymouth; John L. [MORIARTY], Argos, and Terry L. [MORIARTY],
Logansport; thirtee grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, with her husband, were her parents, two grandsons, Michael SMILEY and
John Lloyd MORIARTY; three sisters and four brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Argos Bible Church with the Rev. Mark
FISHBURN officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call
from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Grossman Funeral Home, and one hour before services at the church.
