Mervine C. Rentschler<br />

Oct. 27, 1909 - Aug. 23, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Mervine C. RENTSCHLER, 86, West Dunn St., <strong>Fulton</strong>, died at 8:35 a.m. Friday at<br />

Woodlawn Hospital.<br />

She was born in Manteno, Ill., to Louis A. and Addie A. RANTZ HUBERT. On March<br />

1, 1930 in <strong>Rochester</strong> she married Elgy V. RENTSCHLER, who died Feb.10, 1973.<br />

She was a member of the <strong>Fulton</strong> Baptist Temple and a former member of the Woodlawn<br />

Hospital Board of Trustees. She was a 50-year member and past matron of the <strong>Fulton</strong> Order of<br />

Eastern Star.<br />

Surviving are four sons, Jim [RENTSCHLER], Metea, Ned and Phillip<br />

[RENTSCHLER], both of <strong>Fulton</strong>, and David [RENTSCHLER], Paris, Mo.; fourteen<br />

grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-greatgrandchildren,<br />

and one half-sister, Lucille GREGORY, Fort Wayne. Preceding her in death was<br />

two grandchildren, Shelly and Mike [RENTSCHLER], three brothers and one daughter-n-law,<br />

Margaret Ann [RENTSCHLER].<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, <strong>Fulton</strong>,<br />

with the Rev. Lonnie PETERS officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Fulton</strong> Cemetery. Friends may<br />

call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m.<br />

Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the <strong>Fulton</strong> Baptist Temple.<br />

Marjorie K. Moriarty<br />

Nov. 20, 1909 - Aug. 23, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Marjorie K. MORIARTY, 86, 111 West South St., Argos, died at 5:35 p.m. Friday at her<br />

home. She was in failing health.<br />

She was born in Argos to Henry and Rosezetta Kamp KROUSE CLAY. On Feb. 9, 1929<br />

in Argos she married C.O. MORIARTY who died Jan. 16, 1989. She lived most of her life in the<br />

Culver and Argos communities. She was retired from Civil Services where she worked for<br />

Selective Service Board in Plymouth. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church,<br />

Argos.<br />

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) SMILEY, Argos; Shirley<br />

KNEZEVICH, Argos, and Mrs Leonard (Linda J.) FULLER, Elkhart; three sons, James P.<br />

[MORIARTY], Plymouth; John L. [MORIARTY], Argos, and Terry L. [MORIARTY],<br />

Logansport; thirtee grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.<br />

Preceding her in death, with her husband, were her parents, two grandsons, Michael SMILEY and<br />

John Lloyd MORIARTY; three sisters and four brothers.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Argos Bible Church with the Rev. Mark<br />

FISHBURN officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call<br />

from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Grossman Funeral Home, and one hour before services at the church.
