Sept. 13, 1955 - Jan. 6, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Preston Franklin HENRY, 40, 115 S. Riverside Drive, Winamac, died Saturday, Jan. 6,<br />

when his plane was lost over Chesapeake Bay, Va.<br />

He was born in Rensselaer to Donald K. and Marietta F. FELDER HENRY. On Jan. 30,<br />

1982, in Francesville, he married Laurie Ann SMITH, who survives. He was a resident of<br />

Winamac for 15 years, and had also lived in Rensselaer and Peru. He attended Peru schools from<br />

1964-1972 and graduated in 1974 from Rensselaer Central High School. He attended Purdue<br />

University and received his undergraduate and law degree in 1981 from Indiana Universty,<br />

Blooington. He had been a self-employed attorney-at-law since 1981.<br />

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Winamac; Pulaski <strong>County</strong> and<br />

State of Indiana Bar Associations; active with the Cub Scouts and was a former Cub Master; a<br />

supporter of Ducks Unlimited; and was an avid outdoorsman.<br />

Surviving with his wife are three children, Victoria Marie, Preston Keegan and Lauren<br />

Marie HENRY, Winamac; mother-in-law, Mrs. Susan M. SMITH, Rensselaer; one sister, Mrs.<br />

Philip (Mari) LEIGH, Lincolnshire, Ill.; and two brothers, Donald Kenton HENRY, Houston,<br />

Texas; and Mark T and wife Manuela HENRY, Karlsrube, Germany<br />

A memorial service and celebration of Mr. Henry’s life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the<br />

First United Methodist Church, Winamac. <strong>The</strong> Rev. William MATHYS will officiate. Memorials<br />

may be made to the Cub Scouts Organization or the First United Methodist Church, Winamac,<br />

through Jackson Funeral Chapel, Rensselaer.<br />

Norval J. Clemans<br />

June 28, 1934 - Jan. 16, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Norval Jay CLEMANS, 61, 6615 East 500 North, Logansport, died Tuesday at his<br />

residence.<br />

He was born to Meritt and Zethel WOODHOUSE CLEMANS. He was married to Joyce<br />

THORRINGTON, who survives He worked for United Technologies, Peru.<br />

Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Jackie Ann WYLEY, <strong>Rochester</strong>; Ja Lu<br />

LLOYD, Kewnnna; and Jeannette L. CLEMANS and Josie M. FRENCH, both of Twelve Mile;<br />

five sons, Jerry L., Jody M. and Jonathon M. CLEMANS, all of Tweve Mile; Jeff L. CLEMANS,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; and Jay CLEMANS Jr., Logansport; four grandchildren; one half-brother, Leo<br />

WOODHOUSE, Logansport; one half-sister, Clara Mae WINEGRDNER, <strong>Rochester</strong>. Precedig in<br />

death was a half-brother, Ronald Dean CLEMANS, who died in 1991.<br />

Private services were held, with the Rev. Aletta HEATH officiatng. Burial was in the<br />

Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners<br />

Childrens Hospital.<br />

Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, was in charge of the arrangements.
