Harold D. ALSPACH, 77, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn<br />

Hospital.<br />

Born near Talma to Henry and Eva Lena SMITH ALSPACH, he graduatd from Talma<br />

High School in 1936. He returned to <strong>Rochester</strong> in 1986, having come from Maryland, where he<br />

lived for 23 years. He retired from the United States Navy in 1961 after 20 years. He was an<br />

employee of NASA with Bendix Field Egineering at Goddard Space Center, Greenvbelt, Md.,<br />

where he programmed satellites until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Trinity United<br />

Methodist Church, a 49-year member of the F&A Masonic Lodge 79, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and a member of<br />

the Scottish Rite Lodge and Mizpah Shrine Temple, both of Ft. Wayne.<br />

He is survived by a daugher Mrs. Michael (Cindy) ANGELO, Houston, Texas, two<br />

grandchildren, Lisa ad Kevin ANGELO, Houston; a sister Mrs Don (Joan) KEELE, a niece Mrs.<br />

Mark (Melody) GENTRY, and a nephew Charles CLAWSON II, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>. He was<br />

preceded in death by his parents.<br />

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the<br />

Rev. Donald W. BRENNEMAN officiating. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery next to his<br />

parents. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m today and after 1 p.m. Saturday through the hour of services.<br />

F&AM Lodge 79 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home at 6 p.m. today and the<br />

American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct a military graveside service at the<br />

cemetery Saturday.<br />

Memorial contributions may be made to the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Cancer Society.<br />

Wilbur W. Latimer<br />

May 18, 1909 - Nov. 14, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Wilbur W LATIMER, 87, Mentone, died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday at Kosciusko<br />

Community Hospital, Warsaw.<br />

Born in Mentone to Lyndes and Nellie LYONS LATIMER, he married Garnet KIEFER<br />

on April 20, 1936 in Claypool; she survives. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and raised<br />

sheep. He also judged sheep at several county fairs and was a member of the Hampshire and<br />

Shropshire Sheep Association He was a member of the Burket United Methodist Church and the<br />

Mentone Masonic Lodge. He served on the Burket Fire Department, the ASCS Board, and the<br />

<strong>County</strong> Board of Zoning.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughers Wilburta BAKER, Pierceton, and<br />

Karen THOMAS, Winona Lake; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren<br />

and ten step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.<br />

Services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev. Eric<br />

STOOPS and Rev. Don POYSER officiating Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery. Visitation is<br />

from 4-8 p.m Saturday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
