Nov. 14, 1929 - July 29, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Dorothy Ann HIGHTSHOE, 66, Denver, died at 1:38 p.m. Monday at Saint Joseph<br />

Hospital, South Bend.<br />

Born in Allen <strong>County</strong> to Wilhelminia Johanna GEVERS HETZNER, she married Amel<br />

Edward HIGHTSHOE on June 1, 1946 in Peru. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1975. She<br />

was a seamstress at Hart Schaffner and Marx, <strong>Rochester</strong>, for 15 years. She was also a member of<br />

the Denver Baptist church.<br />

Preceding her in death with her husband were one daughrter, Peggy Ann HIGHTSHOE;<br />

one son, Steve Edward HIGHTSHOE; and one step-brother, Deverl HETZNER.<br />

Surviving are four daughters, Linda BURNS, Macy; Anna Marie COLEMAN, Kokomo,<br />

Barbara Jane SHEA, Roann, and Doris Jean BUSH, Culver; two brothers, Alfred William<br />

HETZNER, Denver, and John Paul HETZNER, Kokomo; two sisters, Sally SNYDER, Fort<br />

Wayne, and Minnie Leona SLUSSER, Denver; seventeen greanchildren, Robin BURNS, Ty<br />

MORTON, Beth Ann ANDERS, Shannon ROBINSON, Rebecca BOONRIN, Peggy Ann<br />

HUNTER, Travis MORTON, Stephanie HUNTER, Mchael FOSTER, Erin SHEA, Nicole BUSH,<br />

Jessica BUSH, Charlotte BUSH, Jennifer BUSH, Elizabeth BUSH, Dylan BUSH, Anjelica BUSH,<br />

and seven great-grancchildren, Jacaob and Sydne ROBINS, Nathaniel and Rocky BOONRIN,<br />

Kiersten and Kinzie MORTON and Roark ANDERS.<br />

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at McClain Fueral Home, Denver. Burial will take place<br />

at Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, with Rev. Steve BATE and Rev. Mark SPENCER officiating.<br />

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.<br />

Donald J. Hamilton<br />

April 2, 1907 - July 29, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Donald J. HAMILTON, 89, Warsaw, died at 4:25 p.m. Monday at the Kosciusko<br />

Community Hospital.<br />

Born in Kosciusko <strong>County</strong> to James and Sarah E. MYERS HAMILTON, he married<br />

Jessie SHAFER on Dec. 16, 1931. She survives. He was a farmer and a truck driver for Leesburg<br />

Mill, retiring in 1980.<br />

Preceding him in death were two brothers and four sisters.<br />

Surviving with his wife are four sons, Dean and Jack HAMILTON, both of Milford, and<br />

Jim and Jerry HAMILTON, both of Warsaw; two sisters, Anna GAGNON, North Manchester, and<br />

Hazel COAHRAN, Macy; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Rev.<br />

Jeff HOFFARD officiating Burial will be at the Leesburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-<br />

8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church.
