Michael Henry HABIG, 73, 1130 Locust Drive, Martinsville, died Sunday at St. Vincent<br />

Hospital, Indianapolis.<br />

He was born in Indianapolis to Michael and Bertha Sophie HAUSER HABIG On July 1,<br />

1951, in Martinsville, he married Engrid E “Fritz” PETERSON, who survives. He attended the<br />

John Herron School of Art, Indianapolis. He began his career as a draftsman and tool designer for<br />

Wallace Tool and Die, Indianapolis, for several years and then worked at Detroit Diesel Allison<br />

from 1950 to 1960. He owned and operated Habig’s Casuals Mooresville, Martisville, and Union<br />

Station from 1960 to the present.<br />

Formerly of Mooresville, he was a member of Mooresville First United Methodist<br />

church, where he served as treasurer and had taught Sunday School. He was also a member of<br />

Martinsville Elks Lodge, 25-year member of Mooresvile Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Valley of<br />

the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Mooresville Kiwanis Club, Mooresville and Martinsville<br />

Chamber of Commerce, Morgan <strong>County</strong> Shrine Club and past president of the Lake Edgewood<br />

Neighborhood Association.<br />

Surviving with his wife are one son, Michael B. HABIG, Indianapolis; two daughters,<br />

Christina L. SHELTON, Winter Park, Fla; and Brenda A AMADOR, Tomball, Texas; two<br />

brothers, Louis HABIG, Cicero; and Richard HABIG, Indianapolis; one sister, Ruth KARR,<br />

Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mooresville First United Methodist Church,<br />

with the Revs. Gene YOUNG and Frank Van ALLEN officiating. Burial will be in the White<br />

Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Carlisle & Son Funeral<br />

Chapel, Mooresville. Mooresville Masonic Lodge will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m.<br />

Sunday at the funeral chapel. Memorias may be made to the Mooresville First United Methodist<br />

Church or Mooresville Masonic Lodge.<br />

Devond B. McIntire<br />

April 28, 1928 - Jan. 23, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, for Devond B<br />

McINTIRE, 67, Lakeland Manor, 2402 E. Center St., Warsaw.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Donald KAKAVECOS will officiate. Burial will be in the Maxinkuckee<br />

I.O.O.F. Cemetery, near Culver. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Friday<br />

through the hour of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Tippecaoe<br />

Emergency Medical Service.<br />

Mr. McIntire died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeland Manor, Warsaw. He was born near<br />

North Liberty to Floyd and Grace BUSS McINTIRE. Formerly of Rockville and Tippecanoe, he<br />

had been a resident of Warsaw for one week. He had previously resided at Lee Allan Bryant<br />

Health Care Center, Rockville. Prior to that time, he had resided in Fort Wayne and Tippecanoe.<br />

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Mildred) TOM, Mishawaka, Mrs. Gordon<br />

(Esther) ECKER, Plymouth; Mrs. Nelson (Janice) WYNN, Culver; Mrs. Martel (Pat) JENNINGS,<br />

Tippecanoe; and Mrs. Cat (Sharon) VASQUEZ Jr., San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Eugene<br />

and wife Helen McINTIRE, Bremen; Warren “Red” and wife Helen McINTIRE, Tippecanoe; and<br />

Darell and wife Mary McINTIRE, Argos; and several nieces and nephews. Precedig in death were<br />

one sister, Flossie KEPLER; and one brother, Eldon McINTIRE.
