Feryl Ann COPLEN, 59, Akron, died at 3:29 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Hospital,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Born in Enid, Okla. to Ray and Vivian WOMBLE FOUTS she married Dale COPLEN on<br />

Aug. `5, 1954 at Ft. Sill, Okla.; he survives. A homemaker, she had been a resident of the Akron<br />

area since 1955. She was a former employee of R.R. Donnelly & Sons, Warsaw, and a member of<br />

the Olive Branch Church of God, Roann.<br />

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters Mrs. Wayne (Karen)<br />

CONWAY, Tiverton, R.I., Mrs. Kevin (Karna) LYONS, Philadephia, Pa.; two sons Don<br />

COPLEN, Warsaw, Michael and wife Katherine COPLEN, North Manchester; five grandchildren;<br />

her mother Vivian FOUTS, Enid, Okla.; two brothers Warren FOUTS, Marietta, Ga. and James<br />

FOUTS, Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father.<br />

Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Akron, with the Revs.<br />

Lowell BURRIS and Lawrence SEE officiating. Burial wil be in Athens Cemetery. Visitation is<br />

from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday through the hour of services.<br />

Memorial contributions may be made to the Olive Branch Church of God Building Fund,<br />

Roann.<br />

Richard G. Hooker<br />

April 15, 1932 - Dec. 9, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Richard G. “Dick” HOOKER, 64, Argos, died at 9 p.m. Monday at his residence.<br />

Born in Argos to LaMar and Zella FEAR HOOKER, he married Mary L. OVERMYER<br />

on Feb. 25, 1953 in Argos; she survives. He had resided his entire life in the Argos community<br />

where he had been a heavy equipment operator in construction. He served with the U.S. Army in<br />

the Korean War; he was discharged on Sept. 28, 1954. He was a member of the American Legion<br />

Post 68, Argos, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6919, Culver.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughtrs Mrs. Jack (Jill A.) HOLZBERGER,<br />

Mitchell, S.D., Mrs. James (Cheri L.) HOFFER, Plymouth; three granddaughters Erika MILLER,<br />

Mitchell, S.D., Elizabeth HOFFER, Plymouth, and Jami HOOKER, Argos. He was prceded in<br />

death by one son Greg Richard HOOKER on Feb. 9, <strong>1996</strong>.<br />

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, with the<br />

Rev. Roy FISHBURN officiating. <strong>The</strong>re will not be any visitation or viewing. Grossman Funeral<br />

Home, Argos, is in charge of arrangements.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Marshall <strong>County</strong> Hospice or the Argos United Methodist<br />

Church.
