Glen Dean “Dutch” ZARTMAN, 70, Miller Street, Fulton, died early Monday morning at
his residence.
He was born in Mexico to John W.F. and Marie (FLENNER) ZARTMAN. He had lived
in the Fulton area all his life. He owned Big Z Hardware and was a retired farmer. He was a
member of the Fulton Baptist Temple and [a past member of] the [board of trustees of the] Caston
[Educational Center]. He was active in the Fulton Athletic League and Fulton Park programs.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rosanna OVERMYER, Rochester; Mrs. Janet COPLEN,
Argos; Mrs. Carolyn YOUNG, Rochester; several nieces and nephews; and one aunt, Mrs. Helen
BEMENDERFER, Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John [ZARTMAN].
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Zimmerman Family Funeral Home [in Fulton]
with the Rev. Lonnie PETERS officiating Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-
8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be left to the Fulton Baptist Temple.

Michael WALLIS, 54, Mentone, died Monday. Arrangements are pending at King
Memorial Home, Mentone.

Michael L. WALLIS, 54, Mentone, died Monday on Kosciusko County Road 500 South,
south of Mentone of natural causes.
He was born in Connersville to Carl E. and Thelma E. (DAVIS) WALLIS.
He lived in the Mentone area most of his life. He was a welder.
Surviving are his father, Fort Wayne; two daughers, Mrs. Pami HUNSBERGER,
Mentone; Dawn WALLIS, Mentone; four sons, Michael A. and Robert A. [WALLIS], of
Mentone; Scott [WALLIS], Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Bud PHILLIPS, Mentone; one brother, Tim
A. WALLIS, Vesta, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Nena M. WALLIS; and one brother,
Steven WALLIS.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Rev. Claude
STOGSDILL officiting Burial will be in the Mentone Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday
and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Frances A. FRICK, 93, Mexico, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday at Dukes Continuing Care
Center in Peru. Funeral arrangements are pending at McClain Funeral Home in Denver.
