Glen Dean “Dutch” ZARTMAN, 70, Miller Street, <strong>Fulton</strong>, died early Monday morning at<br />

his residence.<br />

He was born in Mexico to John W.F. and Marie (FLENNER) ZARTMAN. He had lived<br />

in the <strong>Fulton</strong> area all his life. He owned Big Z Hardware and was a retired farmer. He was a<br />

member of the <strong>Fulton</strong> Baptist Temple and [a past member of] the [board of trustees of the] Caston<br />

[Educational Center]. He was active in the <strong>Fulton</strong> Athletic League and <strong>Fulton</strong> Park programs.<br />

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rosanna OVERMYER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; Mrs. Janet COPLEN,<br />

Argos; Mrs. Carolyn YOUNG, <strong>Rochester</strong>; several nieces and nephews; and one aunt, Mrs. Helen<br />

BEMENDERFER, Tucson, Ariz.<br />

He was preceded in death by one brother, John [ZARTMAN].<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Zimmerman Family Funeral Home [in <strong>Fulton</strong>]<br />

with the Rev. Lonnie PETERS officiating Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-<br />

8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be left to the <strong>Fulton</strong> Baptist Temple.<br />

Memorial Home, Mentone.<br />

Michael L. WALLIS, 54, Mentone, died Monday on Kosciusko <strong>County</strong> Road 500 South,<br />

south of Mentone of natural causes.<br />

He was born in Connersville to Carl E. and <strong>The</strong>lma E. (DAVIS) WALLIS.<br />

He lived in the Mentone area most of his life. He was a welder.<br />

Surviving are his father, Fort Wayne; two daughers, Mrs. Pami HUNSBERGER,<br />

Mentone; Dawn WALLIS, Mentone; four sons, Michael A. and Robert A. [WALLIS], of<br />

Mentone; Scott [WALLIS], Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Bud PHILLIPS, Mentone; one brother, Tim<br />

A. WALLIS, Vesta, Calif.; and six grandchildren.<br />

He was preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Nena M. WALLIS; and one brother,<br />

Steven WALLIS.<br />

Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Rev. Claude<br />

STOGSDILL officiting Burial will be in the Mentone Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday<br />

and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.<br />

Frances A. FRICK, 93, Mexico, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday at Dukes Continuing Care<br />

Center in Peru. Funeral arrangements are pending at McClain Funeral Home in Denver.
