July 1, 1904 - July 15, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Mildred Irene ANDERSON, 92, Gladstone, N.J., died July 15, <strong>1996</strong> at the Bryan Manor,<br />

Gladstone.<br />

She was born in Mentone to Dr. Emra and Lenna COPLEN ANDERSON. She had<br />

studied music at Bush Conservatory, Chicago, Ill., and had earned a bachelors degree at the<br />

Louisville Conservatory of Music. She taught music in Mississippi and at U.S. Indian Service<br />

Schools in Tomah, Wis. and Wahpeto, N.D. in the 1930s. She had been employed by Willis<br />

Music Co., Cincinnati, Ohio ad Summy Music of Chicago. She owned Anderson’s Music Shop in<br />

Flint, Mich., from 1945 to 1966 and taught private piano students for many years. She was a<br />

member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Flint, Mich.<br />

She is survived by a sister, Kathleen CAMPLEJOHN, Denver, Colo., and a brother,<br />

Robert ANDERSON, Sunnyvale, Calif.<br />

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the King Memorial Home in<br />

Mentone with the Rev. James KREFT officiating. Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery,<br />

Mentone.<br />

Marjorie O. Flynn<br />

Marjorie O. (DICKSONJ) FLYNN, formerly of Argos, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at<br />

Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. Arrangements are pending at the Grossman Funeral<br />

Home, Argos.<br />

Jack D. Evener<br />

Jack D. EVENER, 65, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, South<br />

Bend. Arrangements are pending at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Lee Strubbe<br />

Nov. 5, 1906 - Aug. 14, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Lee STRUBBE, 89, died Wednesday i VErsailles.<br />

Born near Versailles to Herman and Bertha JACKSON STRUBBE, he married Mary<br />

Ann FIRTH, who survives.<br />

Also surviving are three sons, Robert [STRUBBE] of Versailles, Stephen [STRUBBE] of<br />

Osceola, and Firth SHELPMAN of <strong>Rochester</strong>; two daughters, Judith SMITH and Caroline<br />

McCARTY of Versailes; one sister, Hazel FARRELL of Osgood; eleven gradchildren and five<br />

great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tanglewood Baptist Church and burial will be at<br />

Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m Friday at the Bovard Funeral Home,<br />

Versailles.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Parknson’s Disease Foundation or the Tanglewood<br />

Baptist Church.
