Mildred Irene ANDERSON, 92, Gladstone, N.J., died July 15, 1996 at the Bryan Manor,
Gladstone.
She was born in Mentone to Dr. Emra and Lenna COPLEN ANDERSON. She had
studied music at Bush Conservatory, Chicago, Ill., and had earned a bachelors degree at the
Louisville Conservatory of Music. She taught music in Mississippi and at U.S. Indian Service
Schools in Tomah, Wis. and Wahpeto, N.D. in the 1930s. She had been employed by Willis
Music Co., Cincinnati, Ohio ad Summy Music of Chicago. She owned Anderson’s Music Shop in
Flint, Mich., from 1945 to 1966 and taught private piano students for many years. She was a
member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Flint, Mich.
She is survived by a sister, Kathleen CAMPLEJOHN, Denver, Colo., and a brother,
Robert ANDERSON, Sunnyvale, Calif.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the King Memorial Home in
Mentone with the Rev. James KREFT officiating. Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery,
Mentone.

Marjorie O. (DICKSONJ) FLYNN, formerly of Argos, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at
Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. Arrangements are pending at the Grossman Funeral
Home, Argos.
Jack D. Evener
Jack D. EVENER, 65, Rochester, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, South
Bend. Arrangements are pending at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester.

Lee Strubbe

Lee STRUBBE, 89, died Wednesday i VErsailles.
Born near Versailles to Herman and Bertha JACKSON STRUBBE, he married Mary
Ann FIRTH, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robert [STRUBBE] of Versailles, Stephen [STRUBBE] of
Osceola, and Firth SHELPMAN of Rochester; two daughters, Judith SMITH and Caroline
McCARTY of Versailes; one sister, Hazel FARRELL of Osgood; eleven gradchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tanglewood Baptist Church and burial will be at
Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m Friday at the Bovard Funeral Home,
Versailles.
Memorials may be made to the Parknson’s Disease Foundation or the Tanglewood
Baptist Church.
