Leona RIDDLEY McCONNELL, 64, 2766 N. Knoll Drive, Macy, died at 10:51 a.m.<br />

Tuesday at Woodlawn Hospital.<br />

She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., to Robert and Artie MERIDITH HUTTON. She<br />

married Ray A. RIDDLEY, who died on Sept. 21, 1986. She later married Leionell<br />

McCONNELL, who survives She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, South Chicago<br />

Heights, Ill., and a graduate of Purdue University, Calumet Campus.<br />

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Gale) HARPER, Macy; one son,<br />

the Rev. Al and wife Karen RIDDLEY, Chatham, Ill; and five grandchidren.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Smits Funeral Home, Steger Memorial Chapel,<br />

Steger, Ill., with the Rev. Gary HARNER officiating. Burial will be in the Skyline Memorial<br />

Park, Monee, Ill. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.<br />

Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, is in charge of the local arrangements.<br />

Oct. 13, 1946 - Feb. 21, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Larry Alan MILLER, 49, 1501 Lake Ave., Plymouth, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday at his<br />

resdence.<br />

He was born in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> to Charles Damon and Doris Mae TROUTMAN MILLER.<br />

He was a Plymouth resident since 1975, having come from Argos. He was the activity director of<br />

Social Service for 10 years for the Marshall <strong>County</strong> Shade Rest Home, providing therapeutic<br />

recreation.<br />

He was a 1964 graduate of North White High School, Monon, and received his Nursing<br />

Home Administrator’s license through Indiana University and a Social Service license through<br />

Ball State Universty. He attended the First United Church of Christ, Plymouth, and was a member<br />

of the Richland Center Odd Fellows Lodge No. 435, charter member of Indiana Activity Directors<br />

Association, Plymouth Single Dimensions, Board of Directors of the Marshall <strong>County</strong><br />

Neighorhood Center, Marshall <strong>County</strong> Blueberry Festival Committee, past president of Marshall<br />

<strong>County</strong> Social Service Council, past state vice president of Indiana Rural Youth and officer in the<br />

District and <strong>County</strong> Rural Youth.<br />

Surviving are his father, C. Damon MILLER, Kewanna; two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Carol<br />

A.) BIBLER and Mrs. Gary (Barbara J.) HITTLE, both of Argos; three aunts, Mrs. Alfred (Ruth)<br />

TAYLOR, Winamac; Mrs. Norman (Lois) HANSEN, Prescott, Ariz.; and Mrs. Jerome (June)<br />

MILLER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two uncles, Ivan TROUTMAN, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and Charles TROUTMAN,<br />

Lutherville, Md.; ten cousins; and companion and confidant, Peggy VanMETER, Leiters Ford.<br />

Preceding in death were his mother, Doris M. MILLER, who died on Sept. 8, 1992; maternal<br />

grandparents, Perry and Ethel A. TROUTMAN; and pateral grandparents, Charles and Naomi<br />

MILLER<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at First United Church of Christ, Plymouth, with the<br />

Rev. Ronald LIECHTY officiating. Burial will be in the McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac.<br />

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Friday, and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church<br />

fellowship hall. Odd Fellows Richland Center Lodge No. 435 will conduct a memorial service at<br />

7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Marshall <strong>County</strong> Neighborhood<br />

Center and Hospice of Marshall <strong>County</strong>.<br />
