Aug. 4, 1908 - Sept. 27, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Hazel F. HOLLOWAY, 88, 6801 North South St., Talma, died at 6:51 a.m. Friday at Life<br />

Care Center where she had been a patient since Aug. 9.<br />

Born in Pueblo, Colo. to John and Jessie BRADLEY TILDEN, she married Omer “Jack”<br />

HOLLOWAY on April1, 1933 in Crown Point; he died March 21, 1995. A homemaker who had<br />

lived in this area since 1931, she was a member of the Talma United Methodist Church.<br />

She is survived by a daugher, Mrs. Carole FELTIS, <strong>Rochester</strong>; three sons, Marion and<br />

wife Pauline HOLLOWAY, Richard and wife Laura HOLLOWAY, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>, Kenneth<br />

HOLLOWAY, Etna Green; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also<br />

surived by three brothers, Robert and wife Meryle TILDEN, Winamac, Ralph and wife Betty<br />

SNYDER, Portage, and Donald and wife Alma SNYDER, North Vernon. In addition to her<br />

parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vivian [HOLLOWAY],<br />

1934, an infant granddaugher, Krista, and two brothers, William and Herbert.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the<br />

Rev. Jean McCAN officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is<br />

from 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday through the hour of service.<br />

Memorial contriburtions may be made to the Talma United Methodist Church.<br />

Charles Haag<br />

March 17, 1934 - Sept. 29, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Charles “Charlie” HAAG, 62, 6417 Lilac Rd., Plymouth, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at his<br />

residence following a six-month illness.<br />

Born in Plymouth to Henry H. and <strong>The</strong>lma BAKER HAAG, he married Betty Kay<br />

BIGGS on December 18, 1988 in Plymouth; she survives. A resident of Marshall <strong>County</strong> and a<br />

farmer for many years, he became a partner in Don Koontz Equipment of Plymouth in 1985.<br />

From this association came a new venture in 1986 known as H&K Aggregate Division of<br />

Plymouth. He was also a part owner of the Jellystone Camp Ground west of Plymouth. He was a<br />

member of Local 150 Engineers for over 40 years and a member of Plymouth Moose Lodge 741.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Lowell HAAG, Colo., and a daughter, Pamela Dean<br />

CARPENTER, Elkhart, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is also survived by a<br />

brother Carl HAAG and a sister Beverly GERHART GOLDT, both of Plymouth. He was<br />

preceded in death by his parents.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home,<br />

Plymouth, with the Rev. Charles KRIEF officiating. Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery,<br />

Plymouth.<br />

Memorial contrivutions may be made to the Marshall <strong>County</strong> Hospice.
