Mary Belle Rex Thomas<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Tuesday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, for Mary Belle<br />

REX THOMAS, 81, 208 E. Walnut St., Argos<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Robin SMITH will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery,<br />

Argos. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m through the hour of services<br />

Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Cardinal Center Inc., Warsaw.<br />

Mrs. Thomas was born in Wauseon, Ohio, to Herman and Hildegarde HERZOG<br />

WARWICK. She married Joe REX in Toledo, Ohio He preceded her in death. On April 16,<br />

1947, in Argos, she married Robert C. THOMAS Sr., who died on Feb. 18, 1988.<br />

She was a resident of Argos for 43 years, havig come from Toledo, Ohio. She and her<br />

husbnd owned and operated Bob Thomas service station for 43 years, retiring in 1988. She<br />

attended Argos United Methodist Church and was active in Real Meals.<br />

Surviving are one son, Joe and wife Mary REX, Argos; one step-son, Tom THOMAS Jr.,<br />

Warsaw; three grandchildren, Kim SELLERS, Bourbon and Joe [REX] Jr. and Dale REX, both of<br />

Argos; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were one sister, Juanita WALMER; and<br />

oine brother, John WARWICK.<br />

Mary E. Widvey<br />

Nov. 7, 1919 - Jan. 27, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Mary E. WIDVEY, 76, Greenfield, died Saturday at Brandywine Manor, Greenfield.<br />

She was born in Arcadia to Walter O. and Hazel L. PARR CREEK. She married<br />

Everette WIDVEY, who preceded her in death. She worked in the housekeeping department of<br />

Hancock Memorial Hospitl from 1970 to 1984. She was a resident of Washington State from<br />

1984 to 1990. She was a member of Charlottesvile Christian Church, Double 13 and Bunco,<br />

Charlottesville, and 20-year American Red Cross volunteer.<br />

Surviving are three daughters, Betty WRIGHT and Alice COOLEY, both of Greenfield;<br />

and Judy WEIDNER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother,<br />

Morris CREEK, Washington. Preceding in death were two grandchildren, Tony SAPP and Lindfa<br />

COOLEY; one sister, Margaret “Pat” RAQUET; and one brother, James CREEK.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary, Greenfield, with<br />

the Rev. Jim DUNN officiating. Burial will be in the Glencove Cemetery, Knightstown. Friends<br />

may call from 7-9 p.m today, and 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials may<br />

be made to the Leikemia Society.<br />

Walter Jackson<br />

Walter JACKSON, 89, 510 Race St., died at 9:26 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Hospital.<br />

Arrangements are pending at Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Betty J. Cumberland<br />

Betty J. CUMBERLAND, 69, 8332 S. Beaver Dam Road, Claypool, died at 8 a.m today<br />

at her residence.<br />

Arrangements are pending at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
