Clara P. SWIHART, 91, 602 Randolph St., Plymouth, died at 4 a.m. Thursday at Miller’s<br />

Merry Manor, Plymouth.<br />

She was born in Plymouth to Richard and May ACKLES GRAVES. On Dec. 20, 1923,<br />

in Plymouth, she married Sumner F. SWIHART, who died on Aug. 9, 1979. She was a Marshall<br />

<strong>County</strong> resident most of her life and a homemaker. She was a member of the Plymouth Grace<br />

Baptist Church and former Friendship Club.<br />

Survivig are six daughters, Frances SWIHART and Eva DUNN, both of Plymouth; Mrs.<br />

Donald (Mary) BLAKELEY, LaPorte; Mrs. William (Ethel) WHALEY, Lapaz; and Mrs. Ralph<br />

(Connie) STERLING and Bonnie SLITER, both of Bradford, Ark; five sons, Donald and wife<br />

Frieda SWIHART, Lapaz; Paul and wife Edna SWIHART and Roy and wife Diana SWIHART,<br />

both of Plymouth; Irve and wife Audrey SWIHART, Edwardsburg, Mich.; and Ray and wife<br />

Doris SWIHART, Gary. fifty grandchildren; eighty-three great-grandchildren; twenty great-greatgrandchildren;<br />

one step-sister, Lillian CUNNINGHAM, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and one step-brother, LeRoy<br />

“Bud” GRAVES, South Bend. Preceding in death were one son, Bobby Dean SWIHART; four<br />

grandchildren, Gene SLITER, Ronald SWIHART, Michael DUNN and Randy SWIHART; one<br />

sister, Olive MATHEWS; one step-sister; and one step-brother.<br />

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev.<br />

Pete WARDLOW officiating. Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends<br />

may call from 2 to 8 p.m Sunday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth; and one hour<br />

prior to services on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church.<br />

Greg Richard HOOKER, 32, 15796 Hickory Road, Argos, died at 8:30 a.m Friday at St.<br />

Joseph Hospital of Marshall <strong>County</strong>, Plymouth.<br />

He was born in Plymouth to Richaard G. and Mary OVERMYER HOOKER, Argos, who<br />

survive. He lived his entire life in the Argos Community. He was married to Nikki FOX.<br />

He graduated from Argos Community School and from Ancilla College in May 1995.<br />

He attended Indiana Universty, South Bend, majoring in computer science. He was a member of<br />

the Sons of the American Legion.<br />

Surviving with his parents are one daughter, Jami Marie HOOKER, Argos, two sisters,<br />

Mrs Jack (Jill Ann) HOLZBERGER, Mitchell, S.D., and Mrs. James (Cheri) L. HOFFER,<br />

Plymouth; nieces, Ericka MILLER, Mitchell, S.D, and Elizabeth HOFFER, Plymouth, and aunts,<br />

uncles and cousins.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev.<br />

Robin SMITH officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call<br />

from4-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday.
