Bernice L. ENGELMAN, 87, formerly of Disko, died at 11:21 a.m. at Wabash County
Hospital, Wabash.
Born in Wabash County to Tilden and Ruth A. COPPOCK ENGELMAN, she worked for
the former Corner Cupboard Restaurant for 24 years. She was a member of the former Disko
United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Mary Ellen ENGELMAN and Edythe M.
FLOHR.
Surviving are one nephew, Dr. James E. FLOHR, Boring, Ore.; two great-nephews, Rev.
Kerry L. FLOHR and Kim M. FLOHR; to great-great-nieces, Jill Elaine and Meredith Ann; and
two great-great-nephews, Brendan and Chad FLOHR.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev.
Marlin McCANN officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Wabash, and visitation will be
from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Madeline Danti
Feb. 9, 1911 - June 26, 1996
Madeline DANTI, 58, formerly of Monterey, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at American
Health Care Center, Anderson.
Born in Winamac to Albert and Lydia WADE BRUCKER, she married Reynold DANTI
February 6, 1940, in Monterey. He died April 3, 1993. She was a member of Saint Anne’s
Catholic Church, Monterey.
Also preceding in death was one sister, Evelyn REINHOLT.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol McKEE, Anderson, Lydia McCLINTOCK, Boulder,
Colo., and Reyanna RICE, Victor, Mont.; one son, Paul . DANTI, Remington; one brother, Paul F.
BRUCKER, Rochester; two sisters, Mary Jane PERRY, Kewanna, and Alberta MILLER
CALHOUN, Knox; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church with Rev.
Dominic G. YOUNG officiating. Burial will take place at the Saint Anne’s Cemetery, Monterey.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Frain Mortuary,
Winamac. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Frain Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Saint John’s Hospice, Anderson.
Betty M. Yeider
Betty Maxine ZARTMAN YEIDER, 70, formerly of Rochester, died at 5:15 Thursday at
Park View Hospital, Fort Wayne, following an auto accident near Woodburn.
Arrangemens are pending at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester.
