Frances E. SINK, 78, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday at Brethren Healthcare Center, Flora.<br />

Born in Leiters Ford to John W and Cora HIRT HILFICKER, she married Donovan<br />

SINK on June 8, 1946 in Lucerne. He died March 5, 1962.<br />

She graduated from Metea High School in 1936 and had been employed at Sayco until<br />

her retirement in 1979. A member of the Flora Church of the Brethren, she did volunteer work at<br />

Brethren Healthcre, helping with Meals on Wheels.<br />

She is survived by two sons, Dean SINK, Fora, and Devon SINK, Young America, a<br />

daughter, Kathy GOLTZ, Young America, a step-son, J. Darhl SINK, Sarasota, Fla.; seven<br />

grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by a sister, Lula GROSTEFON, Star<br />

City. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.<br />

Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with Pastor Chris<br />

BUNCH officiating. Burial was at Beech Grove Ceetery, Sharon.<br />

Memorial contributions may be made to Flora Church of the Brethren.<br />

Cecil E Silveus<br />

April 18, 1919 - Sept. 6, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Cecil Earl SILVEUS, 77, Silver Lake, died at 9:05 a.m. Friday at Peabody Retirement<br />

Community, North Manchester, following a 14-year illness.<br />

Born in Akron to Ernest and Bertha YOUNG SILVEUS, he married Mary D. OATESS<br />

on June 21, 1966 in Silver Lake. A retired farmer he had lived most of his life in the Akron and<br />

Silver Lake communities and was a member of the Siver Creek Church of God. He retired as a<br />

shipping clerk and security guard from R.R Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, in 1984.<br />

He is survived by his wife, Mary, three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) GOSHERT,<br />

Warsaw, Mrs. Vernon (Diana) ZOLMAN, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Bill (Peggy) GILGER, McHenry,<br />

Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs Carl (Carolyn) HADDOX, Calif; and Mrs. Richard (Mary Elaine)<br />

BEATY, Simi, Calif; one step-son, Charles ad his wife Isela WENDER, El Paso, Texas; eleven<br />

grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchidren and eleven step-great-grandchildren.<br />

He is also survived by a sister, Esther Ruth SILVEUS, Warsaw; and a nephew, Devon and his<br />

wife Marsha SMITH, Akron. Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant brother, Paul<br />

DeVerl SILVEUS.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Silver Creek Church of God, Silver Lake, with<br />

the Rev. Randy SAMUELS and the Rev. Phil BLAKE officiatig. Burial will be at Lakeview<br />

Cemetery, Silver Lake. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today at the Foster & Good Funeral Home,<br />

Akron, and at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
