July 12, 1925 - Aug. 20, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Virginia R. DILLING, 71, of 3110 Summit Ave., Logansport, died at 3 a.m. today at<br />

home.<br />

Born in Logansport to Owen and Catherine BAUMAN KISSIGER, she married Richard<br />

L. DILLINGER on April 22, 1944. He died Feb 6, 1994.<br />

She was retired from the office of Logan Municipal Utilites and was a member of All<br />

Saints Catholic Church.<br />

She is survived by a son, Richard L. DILLING, Jr., and a daughter, Sandra OTT, both of<br />

Logansport; one grandson and two great-gradchldren; two brothers, Owen “Bud” KISSINGER<br />

and Jack KISSINGER, Logansport; two sisters, Sarah WARNER and Mary KEY, Logansport;<br />

several nieces and nephews. She was prcceded in death by a brother.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Donald<br />

GROSS officiating Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8<br />

Wednesday at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.<br />

Memorials may be made to All Saits Catholic Church, Logansport.<br />

James D. Watrous<br />

March 16, 1912 - Aug. 19, <strong>1996</strong><br />

James Daylin WATROUS, 84, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn<br />

Hospital. He had been a patient four days. He had been in failing health for a number of years.<br />

Born in Union City, Pa., to Bert L. and Lula TRISCUTT WATROUS, he married Mary<br />

Alice BARKER on July 26, 1941 in Lima, Ohio. She survives.<br />

He came to <strong>Rochester</strong> in 1957 from Union City, Pa. He and his wife owned and operated<br />

the former Wtrous Paint Store, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and he also did custom painting., He had lived in<br />

Belleview, Fla. for 23 years, returning to <strong>Rochester</strong> in May, 1995.<br />

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Carol) SHRIVER, <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

and Mrs. Kay HALL, Huntington; one son, Emory ad wife Betty WATROUS, Belleview, Fla.; six<br />

grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a<br />

brother and a granddaughter.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with<br />

the Rev. Robert STORY officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from<br />

2-8 p.m Wednesday ad one hour prior to ervices on Thursday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Woodlawn Hospital Home Health Care, <strong>Rochester</strong>.
