Carolyn J. Hooker<br />

Jan. 3, 1925 - Sept. 2, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Carolyn J. HOOKER, 71, 1001 Madison St., died at 6:30 a.m. Monday at her residence<br />

following a six-week illness.<br />

Born in <strong>Rochester</strong> to Milo and Mary SAYGER COPLEN, she married Jack B. HOOKER<br />

in March, 1952 in Plymouth. He died Sept. 11, 1966.<br />

She had lived her entire life in the <strong>Rochester</strong> community and graduated from <strong>Rochester</strong><br />

High School in 1943. An L.P.N. for 44 years, she had been an employee of Woodlawn Hospital<br />

and had also managed the former <strong>Rochester</strong> Nursing Home. She was a member of the First<br />

Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sheila BOHM and Mrs. John (Lisa) KEEFE, both<br />

of Rocheser; two sons, Barth and wife Chris HOOKER, Kissimmee, Fla., and Brian HOOKER,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; and eight grandchldre, Brett BOHM, Kassandra BARKMAN, Robbie and Callie<br />

REDINGTON, John KAMP, Jodi RICHARDSON, Jane and Jada HOOKER. She was preceded<br />

in death by a half-brother, Porter COPLEN, in 1984.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, with the Revs. Robert STORY and C. Allan HAZEN officiatig. Burial will be at the<br />

I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rocheser. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until<br />

services.<br />

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong><br />

Cancer Fund or Hope Hospice.<br />

Wilbur A. McIntyre<br />

Aug. 12, 1909 - Sept. 1, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Wilbur A. McINTYRE, 87, formerly of Leiters Ford, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at the<br />

Columbia Humana Hospital, Brandon, Fla. He had been a resident of Tampa, Fla., for the past<br />

three months.<br />

Born in Bellflower, Ill. to Allan and Emeline FRANCISCO McINTYRE, he married Ann<br />

E. ROSZHART on Oct. 11, 1933 in Chicago, Ill. She died Jan. 25, 1988. He attended the<br />

Plymouth Missionary Church, Plymouth.<br />

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jack (Nancy) COOK, Valrico, Fla., Sharon LEE,<br />

St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Richard (Sheila) JACOBS, and Michaelene STUTZMAN, both of Plymouth;<br />

fourteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. His parents, one sister and five<br />

brothers preceded him in death.<br />

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Washington Cemetery, Culver, with<br />

the Rev. Rodney EILER officiatig. <strong>The</strong>re will be no visitation. <strong>The</strong> Bonine Funeral Home,<br />

Culver, is in charge of arrangements.<br />

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Society.
