Mary L. McKenzie<br />

April 3, 1901 - Oct. 10, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Mary L. McKENZIE, 95, formerly of Akron, died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday at Millers<br />

Merry Manor, Peru.<br />

Born in North Dakota to Harlen and Eldora BERGER BUTLER, she married James<br />

McKENZIE in Indianapolis; he died in 1938. She was a homemaker and worked at Chamberlin<br />

Products, Akron. She was a member of the Olive Branch Church of God and the Akron Nutrition<br />

Site.<br />

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three<br />

sisters, Hazel SHAW, Maude COMPORT, Alta BURT, and a brother Walter BUTLER.<br />

No visitation or funeral service will take place. Burial will be at the Gilead Cemetery.<br />

Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is handling the arrangements.<br />

Ruth A. HOFFMAN, 100, 100 Montrose Dr., Ft. Myers, Fla., died at 11:15 p.m. Monday<br />

at her residence.<br />

She was born in North Judson to Sven and Minnie JOHNSON and had lived in Florida<br />

for 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Georgia KNOWLES, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Betty<br />

EIZZINI, a son Vance HOFFMAN, Jr., Los Altos, Calif., thirtee grandchildren and a cousin.<br />

Private services will be held on Monday, Oct. 14 at Foster & Good Funeral Home,<br />

Akron. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.<br />

Lacey Jae Mills<br />

Oct. 8, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Lacey Jae MILLS, <strong>Rochester</strong>, was stillborn Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, Logansport.<br />

She is survived by her parents, Thomas J. and Deborah S. CRISPEN MILLS and a<br />

brother Levi [MILLS]. Surviving also are maternal grandpartent, George and Ann CRISPEN<br />

MILLER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; maternal great-gradmother, Burnice CRISPEN, Macy; paternal<br />

grandparents, Spencer and Grace FLOYD MILLS, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and paternal great-grandmother,<br />

Chloe FLOYD, <strong>Rochester</strong>. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Preceding her in death<br />

was her maternal grandfather, Francis L. CRISPEN, in 1985.<br />

Graveside services will be at 1130 a.m Monday at the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery with<br />

Pastor Stan OWENS officiating.
