Dec. 6, 1958 - Aug. 19, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Timothy Brian “Tim” CROWEL, 39, 16444 Sheryl Court, Plymouth, died Tuesday, Aug.<br />

20, <strong>1996</strong> in an airplane accident in Michigan.<br />

Born in South Bend to Kenneth and Glenice JENSEN CROWEL, he married Martha<br />

SCHOBERG LONG on March 14, 1987. She survives.<br />

He was co-owner of the Culver Florist & Gift Shop for the past 16 years. He was a<br />

member of the Moose Lodge, Swan Lake Golf League and the Phi Delts. He attended the<br />

Plymouth Wesleyan Church.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by his parents, a brother Steven CROWEL, Florida,<br />

and three sisters, Kathy KNIGHT, Florida, Brenda SMITH ad Jennifer HINSEY, Culver. He is<br />

also survived by a step-daughter, Jami LONG and three step-sons, Nicholas, Adam and Darek<br />

LONG, all at home.<br />

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, with the Rev.<br />

David TERHUNE officiating. Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation<br />

will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of service. Following cremation burial will be at New Oak<br />

Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. <strong>The</strong> Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, is in charge of arrangements.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Culver Junior and Senior Athletics Scholarship Fund.<br />

Loretta Manns<br />

Dec. 6, 1928 - Aug. 25, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Loretta MANNS, 67, Route 2, Akron, died at 8:40 p.m. at her residence. She had been in<br />

failing health for six months.<br />

Born in Magoffin <strong>County</strong>, Ky., to Otto and Elloree HOPKINS FLETCHER, she had<br />

lived here since 1941. She married Oscar MANNS on April 23, 1946 in <strong>Rochester</strong>. He survives.<br />

She was a homemaker and had worked as a lab technician at Woodlawn Hospital from 1969 to<br />

1994. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Stockbridge, Mich.<br />

Surviving with her husbad is a daughter, Barbara J. BROWER, Akron; three grandsons,<br />

Stephen D. BROWER, Kansas, Roger D. BROWER and Daniel R. BROWER, Akron; a greatgrandson,<br />

Levi M. BROWER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; a sister, Mrs. Oren (Ruth) NORMAN, Akron; and<br />

several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, a son, Roger D. MANNS, a<br />

sister, Ethel TIMBERMAN, and a brother, Herman Harold FLETCHER.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good funeral Home, Akron, with the<br />

Rev. Wayne WHITAKER officiating. Burial will be Akron Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8<br />

p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday through the hour of services at the funeral home.
