Margie CYRUS, 82, 2027 East 600 North, died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday at ExtendaCare<br />

Nursing Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, where she had lived for three weeks.<br />

She was born in Hithins, Ky., to William and Myrtle PERRY HAMILTON. On March<br />

16, 1940, in Grayson, Ky., she married Jennings O. CYRUS, who survives.<br />

She lived in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> for the last 22 years, having come from Huntington, W. Va.<br />

She was a homemaker and member of the First Church of God.<br />

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. William (Lindyl) BRADLEY,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, and Mrs. Charles (Joanne) PORTER, Montgomery, Ala., one son, Garey and Marjory<br />

CYRUS, <strong>Rochester</strong>; seven grandchildren, one sister, Gretchen SMALLRIDGE, and one brother,<br />

Truman JOHNSON, both of Huntington, W Va. Preceding in death were a grandson, Daniel<br />

CYRUS, who died June 22, 1994, and three brothers.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Church of God, with the Revs. Sam<br />

BENNETT and Steve FLECK officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery.<br />

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Foster & Good Funeral Home, and one hour before<br />

services Tuesday at the church.<br />

Veta M. Lowman<br />

Sept. 22, 1910 - Nov. 18, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Veta Mae LOWMAN, 86, formerly of Burket, died at 8:05 a.m. today at the Life Care<br />

Center, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Born in Silver Lake to Hugh ad Eliza (SMITH) BOWEN, she married Earl B.<br />

LOWMAN, who died on June 3, 1978.<br />

She was a homemaker and member of the Cook’s Chapel Church.<br />

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara CAMPBELL, Alexandria, and Patricia<br />

DONAWAY, Tucson, Ariz., and one son, Rev. Marvin LOWMAN, Burket, nine grandchildren<br />

and twenty-four great-grandchildren.<br />

Preceding in death were her husband, one brother, Raymond BOWEN, two half-sisters,<br />

one half-brother and one grandchild.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Paul<br />

CLEVELAND officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.<br />

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour before services<br />

on Wednesday at the church.
