Ralph V. RADER, 89, Indiana 114 East, P.O. Box 55, Akron, died at 9 p.m. Sunday at
his residence.
He was born near Disko to Charles E. and Tressie RAGER RADER. In 1924, in Akron,
he married Grace I. MILLER, who died on Nov 14, 1995. He lived his entire life in the Disko and
Akron communities He was a retired farmer and former Henry Township Trustee in Fulton
County from 1944-1952. He served five terms (1954-1965) in the Indiana State House of
Represetatives where he chaired and served on several comittees, he was administrative assistat to
the Speaker of the House of Representatives for 14 years, and he was appointed a Sagamore of the
Wabash by Gov. Otis Bowen.
He served on the Akron Public Library Board, attended the Laketon and Akron Public
Schools, was a member of the Akron United Methodist Church, Gilead Masonic Lodge, and
Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine temples, both of Fort Wayne.
Surviving are one son, Richard C. and wife LaDonna RADER, Akron; one
granddaughter, Mrs. Rick (Candace) NEWELL, Akron; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were two brothers, Rex and Eugene RADER.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Akron, with the
Rev. Mark BERG officiating Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-
4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. through the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral
home. Memorials may be made to the Akron United Methodist Church.

Chase Lenvel STONE, four=month infant son of Jeffrey and Rise STONE, 19043
Michigan Road, Argos, died at 5 p.m Wednesday, Jan. 24, at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Marshall
County, Plymouth.
Surviving are his parents, Jeffrey and Rise RICH STONE; sister, Emilee [STONE]; and
brother, Kole [STONE], all of Argos; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Eunice BETZ RICH,
Valparaiso; paternal grandparents, Larry and Ethel McKENZIE STONE, Argos; and several aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Services were at 11 a.m Saturday at the Argos Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert
MACE officiatig. Burial was in the Argos Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
