Donald L. SMITH, 69, 2011 High St., Logansport, died at 3:39 a.m Tuesday at Methodist<br />

Hospital, Indianapolis.<br />

He was born in Cass <strong>County</strong> to Grover and Chloe BALL SMITH. On March 26, 1950, in<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, he marrid Frances V. BEARSS, who survives. He retired in 1977 after 24 years as a<br />

brakeman for Penn Central Railroad. He attended the New Life Alliance Church.<br />

Survivig with his wife are two sons, Ronald A. [SMTH], Logansport; and Randall B<br />

[SMITH], Frankfort; one daughter, Denise D. SMITH, Logansport; three brothers, Hugh<br />

[SMITH], Macy; and Francis and Robert [SMITH], both of Leiters Ford; two sisters, Marjorie<br />

HOUSE, Elkhart; and Marietta TIEGHE, Gas City; three grandchildren, Michelle HEWITT, Peru;<br />

Andrew HUNT, Logansport; and Jamie SMITH, Frankfort. Preceding in deth were two sisters<br />

and one daughter, Kathleen REARICK.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home,<br />

Logansport, with the Rev. Fred DRYE officiating. Burial will be in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park<br />

Cemetery, Logansport. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m Thursday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Cass <strong>County</strong> Heart Association.<br />

Oct. 21, 1922 - Jan. 3, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Elsie Helen CAVE, 73, 431 E. 13th St., died at 11:40 am. Wednesday at her residence.<br />

She was born in Frankfot to James and Dora REED SEABOLT. On July 10, 1940, in<br />

Frankfort, she married Francis R. CAVE, who died on Nov. 16, 1983. She had resided in<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> for the past 49 years, having come from Frankfort. She was a homemaker and attended<br />

the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, <strong>Rochester</strong>. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries of the<br />

American Legion, Eagles Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Carol) GUY, Jefferson, Ark.; Mrs. Terry<br />

(Helen) BILTZ, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and Mrs. Michael (Bonnie) ANDREASEN, Fair Hope, Ala.; four sons,<br />

Frances E and wife Marjorie [CAVE], Larry R. and wife Jaynine [CAVE], and Terry L. and wife<br />

Patsy [CAVE], all of <strong>Rochester</strong>; and Dennis D. [CAVE], Akron; twenty-two grandchildren;<br />

twenty-eight great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; her father, James SEABOLT,<br />

Frankfort; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (<strong>The</strong>lma) HILMAN, Frankfort; and Mrs. Gene (Mary)<br />

WILLIAMS, Logansport. Preceding in death was her mother<br />

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the<br />

Rev. David W. DePINHO officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call<br />

from 4-8 p.m Friday and from 2 p.m through the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Cancer and Muscular Dystrophy funds.
