Ruth LONG METZGER, 67, Wabash <strong>County</strong>, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at Community<br />

Care Center, Wabash.<br />

Born to Maurice and Jennie TROUT REED, she married Harold C. METZGER in 1994.<br />

She was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School and attended the Peoria United Methodist<br />

Church. She was a homemaker and a lifetime Wabash <strong>County</strong> resident.<br />

Surviving are her mother, Jennie REED, Wavbash; husband, Harold C. METZGER,<br />

Wabash; two daughters, Linda S. HAMILTON, Jonesboro and Christina K. GROSSNICKLE,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; one son, Maurice H. LONG, Wabash; one step-son, Dan METZGER, Wabash; two<br />

step-daughters, Susan METZGER, Wilmette, Ill., and Debra WEITZMAN, Singapore; two<br />

brothers, John REED, Roanoke, Va., and Max REED, Wabash; four sisters, Mary Lou<br />

KENDALL, Roann, Helen DAWES, Urbana, Dorothy ROUHARD, Springfield, Ohio, Nancy<br />

MEYER, Wabash, and five grandchildren.<br />

Preceding her in death was one step-son and two grandsons.<br />

Services will be at the Mnchester Avenue Chapel GRandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home, at<br />

2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Melissa RICE officiating. Burial will be in the Wallace<br />

Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials can be made to he Ricky Long Scholarship Fund c/o Frances Slocum Bank,<br />

Wabash.<br />

Rita M. Lee<br />

Sept. 17, 1925 - May 20, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Rita M. LEE, 70, Metea, died at 1:27 p.m. Monday at Saint Joseph Meical Center, Joliet,<br />

Ill.<br />

Born in Cass <strong>County</strong> to Hugh and Margaret McLAUGHLIN DORAN, she married John<br />

Robert LEE in 1946. She was a seamstress for 33 years for Hart Schaffner and Marx in <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

and retired in 1994.<br />

Preceding her in death are her husband, John Robert Lee, three brothers and one sister.<br />

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Julia LEE, Brazil, John and<br />

Bonita LEE, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Michael and Debbie LEE, Joliet, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay<br />

and Don CAMP, Lebanon; one brother, Robert DORAN, Logansport; four sisters, Ellen MILLER,<br />

Royal Center, and Alvina HUNTER, Catherine DOTY, and Barbara RADERSTORF, all of<br />

Logansport; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.<br />

Services will be 2 p.m Thursday at the Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport with the Rev.<br />

Bryan CLEMENS officiating. Burial will be at the Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport with<br />

visitation from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kroeger Funeral Home.<br />

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
