Oct. 10, 1900 - Jan. 7, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Nora R. COOPER, 95, Ossian, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at Ossian Healthcare Center, where<br />

she had een a resident since 1988.<br />

She was born in Plymouth to George and Mary FELTON ZIMMER. On Jan. 24, 1923,<br />

in Plymouth, she married Lester COOPER, who died on Dec. 9, 1981. She moved to Fort Wayne<br />

n 1982 ad was a former resident of Richland Center. She farmed with her husband for many<br />

years.<br />

Surviving are two sons, Raymond L. and wife Anita L. COOPER, Phoenix, Ariz.; and<br />

Lyman O. and wife Janet E. COOPER, Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Mrs. Melinda A<br />

STRONG, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Karen L. HULL and Douglas R. COOPER, both of Phoenix, Ariz.;<br />

and Brian L. COOPER, Mesa, Ariz.; and five great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were six<br />

brothers.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

with the Rev. Rodney WILLEKE officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery.<br />

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.<br />

Olive V. Quimby<br />

July 31, 1909 - Jan. 7, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Olive Violet QUIMBY, 86, formerly of 9740 15th Road, Argos, died at 5: a.m. Sunday at<br />

Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, where she had resided for the past 15 years.<br />

She was born in Argos to William and Lenora LOCKWOOD CROW. On March 15,<br />

1930, in Mishawaka, she married Ernest QUIMBY, who prceded her in death. She was a<br />

homemaker ad lived most of her life in the Argos community, except for two years in Mishawaka.<br />

She attended the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos, and was a member of the Mxinkuckee Rebekah<br />

Lodge No 844<br />

Surviving are two sons, Ernest L. and wife Margurite QUIMBY, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and Larry L.<br />

QUIMBY, Argos; twelve gradchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne<br />

and wife Helen CROW, Argos. Preceding in death were one grandson, Keneth A. HINTON; three<br />

sisters, Mamie [CROW], Jewel BRYAN and Cornelia OVERMYER; and two brothers, Lewis and<br />

Floyd CROW.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Wednesday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the<br />

Rev. Lloyd HOWARD officiating Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetry, Argos. Friends<br />

may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home <strong>The</strong> Maxinkuckee Rebekah<br />

Lodge No. 844 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
