Ernest R. Thomas<br />

May 27, 1915 - August 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Ernest R. THOMAS, 81, died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday at his Warsaw residece.<br />

Born in South Bend to Charles A. and Mollie E. LEEDY THOMAS, he married Dorothy<br />

BURWELL on July 14, 1940. She preceded him in death on June 5, 1992. He had lived in the<br />

Warsaw area since 1952 and was employed at Warsaw Foundry for 42 years. He retired as night<br />

watchman in 1993. He was a member of North Winona Church of the Brethren, Warsaw.<br />

He is survived by two daughters, Annabella EVANS, Winona Lake, and Romona<br />

HEKTOR, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one son, Charles H. THOMAS, Warsaw; eleven grandchildren and twelve<br />

great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at<br />

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Lester YOUNG<br />

and David EASTIS officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be<br />

Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.<br />

Allie B. Wilson<br />

Sept. 25, 1903 - August 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Allie B. WILSON, 92, died at 12:18 a.m. Saturday at his Peru residece.<br />

Born in Miami <strong>County</strong> to George and Emma Jane BUTT WILSON, he married Mildred<br />

Luella SMITH on Oct. 8, 1936 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She died May 9, 1943. He then married<br />

Wilma TEMPLIN HANN in Wabash <strong>County</strong> on June 23, 1949; she survives.<br />

A retired Mami <strong>County</strong> farmer, he graduated from Peru High School in 1922. He was a<br />

member of the Peoria United Methodist Church.<br />

He is survived by two sons, George WILSON and Allie R. WILSON, Peru; one step-son,<br />

Terry HANN, Wabash; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Shirley) HALTERMAN, Peru; Mrs. Mike<br />

(Amy) NICCUM and Mrs. Dan (Lana) UNDERWOOD of Wabash; a step-daugher, Mrs. Robert<br />

(Nancy) GIPSON of Pineville, Ky.; twety-four grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.<br />

He was preceded in death by two brothers ad five sisters.<br />

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home with the Rev.<br />

Melissa RICE officiating, with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m and<br />

6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home<br />

Memorial contributios may be made through the funeral home to the Peoria United<br />

Methodist Church or Dukes Memorial Hospital Living Tribute Fund.<br />

Jo Mason<br />

Oct. 21, 1918 - Aug. 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Jo MASON, 77, died Saturday at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis.<br />

She was married to Lewis J. MASON who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker<br />

and a member of the Cumberland Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the International<br />

Order of King Daughters. She is survived by a daughter, LuAnn KRUG, and two grandchildren.<br />

She is also survived by two sisters, Evadean DEARDORFF and Margaret NEWMAN, and one<br />

brother, Otis HALTERMAN, Rocheser.<br />

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello<br />

and burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery, Pulaski <strong>County</strong>. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m<br />

Tuesday at the Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, Indianapolis, and from noon until<br />

the time of service on Wednesday at the Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello.
