Dec. 16, 1920 - July 31, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Bette Jean QUICK, 75, formerly of <strong>Rochester</strong>, died Wednesday at her residence in Ft.<br />

Myers, Fla.<br />

Born in Montour Falls, N.Y. to Norman and Louise ALDRICH HAYDEN, she married<br />

Robert C. QUICK II on Jan. 1, 1942 in Akron. He surives. She was a member of the Tri-Kappa<br />

sorority, past presedent of Christian Women’s Fellowship of the First Christian Church in<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, founder of the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Art League, former director of the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong><br />

Players, a former <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> 4-H leader, and a memvber and former deaconess of the First<br />

Christian Church. She also bowled for many years with the Denton Electric team and waa active<br />

in Brownie and Cub Scouts.<br />

Preceding her in death were one daughter, Sue Ann QUICK, on Sept. 3, 1993; and two<br />

brothers, Vincent HAYDEN in 1986, and Tom HAYDEN in 1992.<br />

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Marcia GARD and her husband Larry,<br />

Indianapolis; two sons, Robert C. QUICK III and his wife Susan, Medford, N.J., and Dr. John N.<br />

QUICK and his wife Sherri QUICK, Morgan Hill, Calif.; seven grandchildren; one sister, June<br />

SANDERS and her husband Richard, Ft. Myers, Fla; and two brothers, Jack HAYDEN,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, and George HAYDEN, Waterloo, Iowa.<br />

Services will be at 1:30 p.m.[Aug. 11] at the First Christian Church, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with Rev.<br />

Robert STOREY officiating. Burial will be at the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery and there will be<br />

no visitation. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemets.<br />

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, <strong>Rochester</strong>, or the Home Hospice,<br />

Ft. Myers, Fla.<br />

Beulah J. Hansen<br />

Sept. 17, 1928 - Aug. 1, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Beulah Jane HANSEN, 67, Amboy, died at 4:21 a.m. Thursday at Methodist Hospital,<br />

Indianapolis.<br />

Born in Cass <strong>County</strong> to Buren and Olive STONE ANGLE, she married Elwood Stephen<br />

“Al” HANSEN on April 11, 1974. He survives. She was raised by her grandparets, John and<br />

India ANGLE. She was a retired teller at Society Bank, Kokomo, and a member of the First<br />

Baptist Church, Kokomo.<br />

Preceding her in death are four aunts, Margart KINGERY, Maxine BURKHOLDER,<br />

Mildred HARRISON, and Esther MORRIS.<br />

Surviving with her husband are one son, Gregory MAVRICK and his wife Cathy,<br />

Kokomo; one daughter, Cynthia MAVRICK, San Diego, Calif. two step-sons, Michael HANSEN,<br />

Fort Worth, Texas, and Richard HANSEN and hiw wife Christina, Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister,<br />

Arlene YENTES and her husband Richard, Peru; one grandson, Nicholas MAVRICK, Vincennes;<br />

two step-graddaughters, Lidsay DAUGHERTY and Stephanie HANSEN; two step-grandsons,<br />

Jesse DAUGHERTY and Shawn HANSEN. She was raised with aunts, Vernie CARNEY,<br />

Logansport, Addie MILLER, Rives Junction, Mich., Clara JONES, Peru, Ruby SULLIVAN, Peru,<br />

and Beatrice SCOTT, Logansport.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Steve<br />

KINGERY officiatig. Burial will be at Deer Creek Cemetery, Onward. Visitation will be from 2-<br />

8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
