Donald G. Whitcher<br />

Donald G. WHITCHER, 77, 10030 N.E. 110th, Kirkland, Wash., 98033, died Sunday<br />

after a short illness.<br />

He is surived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Jenice WHITCHER. Mr. Whitcher and<br />

his wife were the former owners of the Western Auto Store on East 9th St., <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving with his wife are five children, Donetta LANGSTAFF and Dan L. HOCKS,<br />

Portland, Ore., Elgie GIBSON, Bothell, Wash., Dan GIBSON, Kirkland, Wash., Donald<br />

WHITCHER Jr., Camana Island, Wash., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Park Assembly of God, Bothell,<br />

Wash.<br />

Arthur J. Anderson<br />

Jan. 16, 1920 - Sept. 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Arthur J. ANDERSON, 76, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at his Kewanna residence.<br />

Born in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> to Oren J. and Mary KREAMER ANDERSON, he married Ruth<br />

Ann TOMLINSON on Dec. 20, 1941 in Goshen; she survives. A retired farmer and avid<br />

fisherman, he was a 1938 graduate of Kewanna High School and served in the U.S. Army during<br />

WWII. He was a member of Kewanna First Baptist Church, the <strong>Rochester</strong> Order of Eastern Star<br />

70, a Past Master of the former Kewanna Masonic Lodge 546 and was 50-year member <strong>Rochester</strong><br />

Masonic Lodge 79.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Joyce and husband Fred<br />

LUKNOW, Kewanna, Becky and husband Jim LINCOLN, South Bend, five grandchildren and<br />

five great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Lera M. McKINNEY, Eugene, Ore., and<br />

a host of Minnesota family and friends where he spent his summers fishing. He was preceded in<br />

death by one brother.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Friday at the Harrison-Metzger Kewanna Chapel with the<br />

Rev. Steve TUFTS and the Rev. Mike BEALL officiating. Burial will be in the Citizens I.O.O.F.<br />

Cemetery, Kewanna. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday with Masonic services at 8 p.m.<br />

Thursday.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Kewanna United Methodist church and the American<br />

Cancer Society.<br />

Betty J. Baldwin<br />

Betty J. BALDWIN, 75, Sykesville, Md., died Monday, Sept. 9, at Northwest Hospial<br />

Center, Randallstown, Md.<br />

Born in Baltimore to the late Jacob and Rose LIBERTINI LOVALVO, she married<br />

Ronald J. BALDWIN.<br />

She had been employed as a Federal Reserve Bank check processor. She was a member<br />

of the National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary 47 and the American Legion Post 137.<br />

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Janice CARVER of Columbia,<br />

Md., and Carol HYDE of Adamstown, Md.; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by two<br />

brothers, Sonny LOVALVO of Fallston, Md. and a sister-in-law, Catherine BEATTIE, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Loring Byers Chapel, Randallstown, Md.,<br />

with interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
