Frank J. MEREDITH, 83, Mentone, died at 5:55 p.m. Friday at <strong>Rochester</strong> Health Care<br />

Center, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Born in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> to Silas and Ada Mae ROEBAUCH MEREDITH, he married<br />

Mildred KLISE in 1934. She survives. A farmer, he was a member of the Moose Lodge, the<br />

Flying Farmers and a musician with the Jimmy Meredith Band.<br />

Preceding him in death were one sister, Ruth DeWITT, and one brother, Edwin<br />

MEREDITH, [and one grandson].<br />

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Mitzie SAVAGE, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one son Jim<br />

MEREDITH and his wife Orabelle; five grandchildren, Gary MEREDITH, Diana SMITH, Greg<br />

McMILLEN, Susie [SAVAGE], and Klise [SAVAGE]; and [six] great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be at<br />

Sycamore Cemetery, Mentone, and Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at King Memorial<br />

Home.<br />

Memorials can be made to the charity of one’s choice.<br />

Fred M. Fraser<br />

Jan. 12, 1904 - June 10, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Fred M. FRASER, 92, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 11:08 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Hospital.<br />

Born in Monticelklo to Morton and Mae PAYNE FRASER, he married Mary K.<br />

KETCHUM in 1938. He was the district manager for DeKalb Agri Association and retired in<br />

1969 after 31 years of service. He was also a farmer having specialized in potatoes, onions and<br />

corn on his farms near Macy and Marshtown. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist<br />

Church, <strong>Rochester</strong>, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years, the<br />

I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 47, <strong>Rochester</strong>, <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Council on Aging for 10 years, a 50-year<br />

member of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Kiwanis Club, and a 65-tear member of the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Farm Bureau,<br />

where he was Local Affairs Chairman. He was very active with the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Round Barn<br />

Festival, having served 14 years as director and several years as treasurer while in charge of the<br />

Horseshoe Pitching Contest for many years. He was a past president and charter member of the<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> AARP. He studied agriculture at Purdue Uiversity.<br />

Preceding him in death were one daughter-in-law, Sharon HOLT FRASER; and one<br />

brother Roscoe FRASER.<br />

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Robert R. FRASER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; James M.<br />

FRASER, Plymouth; and four grandchildren, Karen K. FRASER, Corona, Calif., David FRASER,<br />

Memphis, Tenn., Steven FRASER, Fort Wayne, Jeffery FRASER, Columbus, Ohio; and two<br />

great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home with Dr. C. David<br />

HOGSETT officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery,<br />

Monticello. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral<br />

home.<br />

Memorials can be made to the Grace United Methodit Church, <strong>Rochester</strong>.
