Children’s Home, Wabash.<br />

Born in Winamac to Michael David and Karen KLINE DECKER, he had lived in<br />

Wabash for seven years.<br />

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mike and Karen TYLER, Akron; father and<br />

step-mother, Michael and Jackie DECKER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; a brother, David DECKER, Akron; stepsisters<br />

Stacy and Jennifer TYLER, Akron, Christine HARRIS, <strong>Rochester</strong>, step-brother, Michael<br />

HARRIS, <strong>Rochester</strong>; maternal grandfather, Trenson KLINE, Argos, paternal grandmother, Betty<br />

DECKER, Koontz Lake, maternal great-grandmother, Inez RINGLE, Plymouth (formerly of<br />

Argos), step-grandparents Bill and Donna TYLER, <strong>Rochester</strong>, step-grandmother, April<br />

SANDERS, Sebring, Fla., and step-grandfather John DUDGEON, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home with Rev. James<br />

MALBONE officiating. Burial is in Akron Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and<br />

after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.<br />

Victor T. “Ted” DICKERHOFF., Jr., 63, Denver, died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday at the Dukes<br />

Memorial Hospital, Peru.<br />

He was born in Mexico to Victor T. and Wanda COOK DICKERHOFF, Peru, Jackie<br />

BURNETT, Joe DICKERHOFF, both of Denver, Ambor DICKERHOFF, Crystal DICKERHOFF,<br />

Matthew DICKERHOFF, Steven DICKERHOFF, all at home; nine grandchildren; a brother,<br />

Wayne DICKERHOFF, Bremen; and two sisters, Bonnie WASHBURN, Akron, and Sue<br />

AMMERMAN, Denver. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister and a son Michael<br />

DICKERHOFF.<br />

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev.<br />

Eugene CORRELL officiating. burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico. Visitation is from<br />

5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.<br />

Virginia M. Ruckman<br />

Jan. 3, 1916 - Nov. 4, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Virginia Marie RUCKMAN, 80, Laketon, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn<br />

Hospital. Born in Aurora, Mo. to John and Clara HOWARD THURMAN she married Paul D.<br />

RUCKMAN on Dec. 19, 1932; he died Jan. 8, 1985. A homemaker, she was a member of the<br />

First church of God, Wabash.<br />

She is survived by three sons, Howard RUCKMAN, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Paul RUCKMAN,<br />

Scherercville, Michael RUCKMAN, Roann; a daughter Mrs. Oral Dean (Marlene) BERRY,<br />

Salem, Ill.; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; a brother Ted THURMAN, Peoria,<br />

Ill., and a sister Birdie BRIDGES, Aurora, Mo. In addition to her husband she was preceded in<br />

death by six brothers and five sisters.<br />

Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Church of God, Wabash, with the Rev. Terry<br />

CANFIELD officiating. Burial is in Laketon Cemetery, Laketon. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m.<br />

Thursday at the church. Arrangements by DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
