Children’s Home, Wabash.
Born in Winamac to Michael David and Karen KLINE DECKER, he had lived in
Wabash for seven years.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mike and Karen TYLER, Akron; father and
step-mother, Michael and Jackie DECKER, Rochester; a brother, David DECKER, Akron; stepsisters
Stacy and Jennifer TYLER, Akron, Christine HARRIS, Rochester, step-brother, Michael
HARRIS, Rochester; maternal grandfather, Trenson KLINE, Argos, paternal grandmother, Betty
DECKER, Koontz Lake, maternal great-grandmother, Inez RINGLE, Plymouth (formerly of
Argos), step-grandparents Bill and Donna TYLER, Rochester, step-grandmother, April
SANDERS, Sebring, Fla., and step-grandfather John DUDGEON, Rochester.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home with Rev. James
MALBONE officiating. Burial is in Akron Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and
after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Victor T. Dickerhoff Jr.

Victor T. “Ted” DICKERHOFF., Jr., 63, Denver, died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday at the Dukes
Memorial Hospital, Peru.
He was born in Mexico to Victor T. and Wanda COOK DICKERHOFF, Peru, Jackie
BURNETT, Joe DICKERHOFF, both of Denver, Ambor DICKERHOFF, Crystal DICKERHOFF,
Matthew DICKERHOFF, Steven DICKERHOFF, all at home; nine grandchildren; a brother,
Wayne DICKERHOFF, Bremen; and two sisters, Bonnie WASHBURN, Akron, and Sue
AMMERMAN, Denver. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister and a son Michael
DICKERHOFF.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev.
Eugene CORRELL officiating. burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico. Visitation is from
5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Virginia M. Ruckman

Virginia Marie RUCKMAN, 80, Laketon, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn
Hospital. Born in Aurora, Mo. to John and Clara HOWARD THURMAN she married Paul D.
RUCKMAN on Dec. 19, 1932; he died Jan. 8, 1985. A homemaker, she was a member of the
First church of God, Wabash.
She is survived by three sons, Howard RUCKMAN, Rochester, Paul RUCKMAN,
Scherercville, Michael RUCKMAN, Roann; a daughter Mrs. Oral Dean (Marlene) BERRY,
Salem, Ill.; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; a brother Ted THURMAN, Peoria,
Ill., and a sister Birdie BRIDGES, Aurora, Mo. In addition to her husband she was preceded in
death by six brothers and five sisters.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Church of God, Wabash, with the Rev. Terry
CANFIELD officiating. Burial is in Laketon Cemetery, Laketon. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m.
Thursday at the church. Arrangements by DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
