Lois F. HUBBARD, 93, Warsaw, died at 3:15 a.m.Tuesday at the Mason Health Care<br />

Center, Warsaw.<br />

Born to Frank and Edith HOLLOWAY ARTER in Akron, she married the late Roy A<br />

HUBBARD on April 19, 1919.<br />

She was a retired nurses aide who had worked for Woodlawn Hospital, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Dukes<br />

Hospital, Peru, and Parkview Hospital, Plymouth. She attended the Talma United Methodist<br />

Church, and was a member of the United Methodist Women.<br />

She lived most of her life in Talma, Tiosa and <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Survivors include two daughters Virginia SURGUY, Warsaw, Bonnie SHAFER,<br />

Warsaw; one daughter-in-law, Nina HUBBARD, <strong>Rochester</strong>; six grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren<br />

and one great-great-grandchild.<br />

Preceding in death with her husband were one son, Fred HUBBARD; a grandchild, Jean<br />

Ann RUTLEDGE; and one sister, Fern BARR.<br />

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>. Rev. Jean McCAN will officiate. Burial will be at the Reichter Cemetery. Visitation<br />

is from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9-11 a.m. Saturday before the service.<br />

Kathryn E Felke<br />

Sept. 10, 1912 - Dec. 24, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Kathryn E. FELKE, 84, Plymouth, died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday in the Pilgrim Manor<br />

Nursing Home.<br />

Born to Christian and Rebecca WILLIAMS EMIGH in Culver, she married the late<br />

Joseph A. FELKE, Sr. on June 12, 1933 in Plymouth.<br />

A lifelong Marshall <strong>County</strong> resident, she graduated from the Culver High School in<br />

1928. She worked as a secretary for Culver Schools until her marriage. She was a homemaker<br />

and a co-owner of Felke Florist and Greenhouse in Plymouth with her husband.<br />

She was a member of the St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Delta <strong>The</strong>ta Tau<br />

Sorority, the Women of the Moose and the Order of the Eastern Star.<br />

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Richard HAND, Pentwater, Mich.,<br />

a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Linda FELKE, Plymouth, four grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren,<br />

a sister, Rebecca BARTLETT, Dayton, Ohio, and a niece.<br />

Preceding in death with her husband are four sisters and three brothers.<br />

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church,<br />

Plymouth. Father David VOORS will officiate. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.<br />

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
