Cloyd E. Miller<br />

Aug. 26, 1919 - Jan. 20, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Cloyd E. “Mode” MILLER, 76, 2612 Country Club Drive, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at<br />

his residence.<br />

He was born in Miami <strong>County</strong> to Roscoe and Julia LOCKWOOD MILLER. On Oct. 25,<br />

1961, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, he married Jane SMITH FOELLINGER, who survives. He was a retired coowner<br />

of Miller’s Saw Mill, Perrysburg. He was the first patient of the newly formed Hope<br />

Hospice.<br />

He was a member of Lincoln Masonic Lodge of Macy, Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> Elks Lodge, Cypress Wood Golf & Country Club of Winter Haven, Fla.; Cypress<br />

Cathedral of Winter Haven, Fla; and Faith Outreach Church, Four Square Gospel Church and<br />

Assemby of God Church, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Alan (Julie) YOUNG, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two<br />

sons, Robert FOELLINGER, Indianapolis; and David B. FOELLINGER, Maui, Hawaii; two<br />

grandchildren, Chelsey YOUNG and Robert B. FOELLINGER II; and three brothers, Carl and<br />

Glenn MILLER, both of Perrysburg; and Gale MILLER, Peru<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m Wednesday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

with the Rev. Don MUNDT officiating Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery.<br />

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m Tuesdfay and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.<br />

Masonic services will be conducted by the Lincoln Lodge of Macy at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the<br />

funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the church or charity<br />

of one’s choice.<br />

Annabel B Dalton<br />

Nov. 5, 1908 - Jan. 16, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Annabel BAVIN DALTON, 87, 1222 E Eckman, South Bend, died at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday<br />

at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend<br />

She was born in <strong>Rochester</strong> to Ben E. and Ida RANNELLS NOFTSGER. On June 23,<br />

1934, in South BEnd, she married George W. BAVIN Jr, who died on Oct. 13, 1943. On Sept. 21,<br />

1949, in South Bend, she married Elwood W. DALTON, who died on July 18, 1975. She was a<br />

member of the First United Methodist Church, South Bend, sustaining member of the board of<br />

directors of Children’s Dispensary and Camp Millhouse, member of the Northern Indiana<br />

Historical Society, South Bend Art Center, Women’s Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital, Indiana<br />

Club Bridge Group, and former member of Morris Park Country Club and University Club of<br />

Notre Dame.<br />

Surviving are two grandsons, George William BAVIN IV and Cark R. BAVIN Jr, both of<br />

Alexandria, Va.; daughter-in-law, Sandra KENADY BAVIN, Alexandria, Va.; one step-daughter,<br />

Susan DALTON FERGUSON, Fort Wayne; and three step-grandchildren, Richard and Elizabeth<br />

FERGUSON, both of Chicago, Ill.; and John FERGUSON, Denver, Colo. Preceding in death<br />

were two sons, George E. William BAVIN III, 1935; and Clark R. BAVIN Sr., who died on July<br />

15, 1990.<br />

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church Chapel, South<br />

Bend, with Dr. Wllwood “Woody” SMITH officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery,<br />

South Bend. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Dispensary and Camp Millhouse, 2015<br />

W. Western Ave., South Bend, or First United Methodist Church, South Bend.<br />

Wesheimer Funeral Homes, Inc., South Bend, was in charge of the arrangements.
