Oct. 16, 1915 - Feb. 14, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Carl Franklin BORDERS, 80, 10521 W. 75 North, Etna Green, died at 11:15 a.m.<br />

Wednesday at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.<br />

He was born in Greenfield to James and Nellie HOWRY BORDERS. He married<br />

Virginia BUTCHER Oct. 3, 1934. She survive<br />

He lived in the area since coming to Indiana from Illinois in 1952. He was the<br />

groundskeeper for the Wawasee Golf Course in Syracuse for 30 years. He was a member of the<br />

Full Gospel Assemby Church in Warsaw, and the 50 Golf Club.<br />

Surviving are three daughters, Lois ROBERTS, Santa Rosa, Calif, Neva SEXTON, North<br />

Webster, and Avanel BORDERS, Pierceton; one son, George BORDERS, Crawfordsville; nine<br />

grandchidren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.<br />

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and six brothers.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Rev.<br />

Richard TRACY officiating. Burial will be graveside services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parks<br />

Cemetery in Greenfied. Friends may call between 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.<br />

Dec. 9, 1927 - Feb. 15, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Nellie (STERK) MOSHER, 68, 9467 East 100 North, Akron, died at 8:50 a.m. Thursday<br />

at Woodlawn Hospital.<br />

She was born in Chicago, Ill., to Cornelius and Winnie KELDERHOUSE STERK. On<br />

May 13, 1952, in Chicago, Ill., she married Gaylord MOSHER, who survives She was a factory<br />

worker and had worked at Bay State, North Manchester.<br />

Surviving with her husband are six sisters, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) BROWN, Nancy STERK<br />

and Mrs. Norman (Connie) MOORE, all of Akron; Mrs. Cornelius (Carrie) KOSTER and Mrs.<br />

Nelson (Margaret) TRUMP, both of South Holland, Ill.; and Mrs. Donald (Wilma) BELSON,<br />

Brookfield, Il.; five brothers, Herman and wife Eloyce STERK, Claypool; Charles and wife<br />

Margaret STERK and Bert ad wife <strong>The</strong>resa STERK, both oif Akron; Robert and wife Sharon<br />

STERK, Macon, Ga.; and Lee and wife Leta STERK, <strong>Rochester</strong>; and one sister-in-law, Lauraine<br />

STERK, Akron. Preceding in death was one brother, John STERK.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m Sunday at Hartzler Funera Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the Rev.<br />

Mark BERG officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m<br />

and 6 to 8 p.m Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Akron United<br />

Methodist Church Building Fund<br />
