Susan Jane SALYER, 54, Claypool, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at her residence.
Born in Rochester to Casey and Hazel SAMPSON MORGAN, she married Cecil
SALYER on Oct. 1, 1960. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1990. She lived in Kosciusko
County for 36 years as a homemaker.
Preceding her in death with her husband were her parents and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Jody CLICK, Silver Lake; two sons, Jeff SALYER,
Claypool, Jim SALYER, Pierceton; one brother, Charles MORGAN, North Manchester; and four
grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Rev. Richard W.
ANDERSON officiating Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake Visitation will be
from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Jodie R Ginther
Jodie Renee GINTHER, 22, Arcadie, died Monday at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.
Surviving are her mother, Jane ALLEN; father, Dan W. GINTHER; step-mother, Karen
GINTHER; two sisters, Amy and Christy GINTHER; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
ALLEN, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry GINTHER.
Private family services are planned. Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary is in charge of
arrangemets.

Richard P. Warfield
Nov. 8, 1924 - July 25, 1996
Richard P. WARFIELD, 71, Kewanna, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at his residence.
Born in Kewanna to Ned and Retha [IRVEN] WARFIELD, he married Thelma HUFF on
Dec. 28, 1956 in Rochester. She survives. He was a retired farmer and liked to drive his tractor,
fish and camp.
Preceding him in death were one grandson and two sisters.
Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Ginny SAVAGE, Kewanna; two step-sons,
Ronald POWELL, Salem, Ore., and Richard POWELL, Kewanna; one brother, Raymond
WARFIELD, Kewanna; three sisters, Loma Lou COLLINS, Kewanna, Betty Jean URBIN, Fulton,
and Charlotte ROBBINS, Kewanna; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with
Rev. Cliff GANO officiating. Burial will be at the Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna. Friends
may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday until services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana.

Ersa M. SOMMERS, 93, formerly of Kewanna, died at 5:25 a.m. Friday at Miller’s
Merry Manor, Logansport. Arrangements are pending at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home,
Kewanna.
