Susan Jane SALYER, 54, Claypool, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at her residence.<br />

Born in <strong>Rochester</strong> to Casey and Hazel SAMPSON MORGAN, she married Cecil<br />

SALYER on Oct. 1, 1960. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1990. She lived in Kosciusko<br />

<strong>County</strong> for 36 years as a homemaker.<br />

Preceding her in death with her husband were her parents and one sister.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Jody CLICK, Silver Lake; two sons, Jeff SALYER,<br />

Claypool, Jim SALYER, Pierceton; one brother, Charles MORGAN, North Manchester; and four<br />

grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Rev. Richard W.<br />

ANDERSON officiating Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake Visitation will be<br />

from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.<br />

Jodie Renee GINTHER, 22, Arcadie, died Monday at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.<br />

Surviving are her mother, Jane ALLEN; father, Dan W. GINTHER; step-mother, Karen<br />

GINTHER; two sisters, Amy and Christy GINTHER; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles<br />

ALLEN, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry GINTHER.<br />

Private family services are planned. Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary is in charge of<br />

arrangemets.<br />

Nov. 8, 1924 - July 25, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Richard P. WARFIELD, 71, Kewanna, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at his residence.<br />

Born in Kewanna to Ned and Retha [IRVEN] WARFIELD, he married <strong>The</strong>lma HUFF on<br />

Dec. 28, 1956 in <strong>Rochester</strong>. She survives. He was a retired farmer and liked to drive his tractor,<br />

fish and camp.<br />

Preceding him in death were one grandson and two sisters.<br />

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Ginny SAVAGE, Kewanna; two step-sons,<br />

Ronald POWELL, Salem, Ore., and Richard POWELL, Kewanna; one brother, Raymond<br />

WARFIELD, Kewanna; three sisters, Loma Lou COLLINS, Kewanna, Betty Jean URBIN, <strong>Fulton</strong>,<br />

and Charlotte ROBBINS, Kewanna; and seven grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with<br />

Rev. Cliff GANO officiating. Burial will be at the Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna. Friends<br />

may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday until services at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana.<br />

Ersa M. Sommers<br />

Ersa M. SOMMERS, 93, formerly of Kewanna, died at 5:25 a.m. Friday at Miller’s<br />

Merry Manor, Logansport. Arrangements are pending at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home,<br />

Kewanna.
