Lucy E. BOETTJER, 76, Peru, died at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday at Millers Merry Manor<br />

Nursing Home, Peru.<br />

Born to Lucy (YATES) ANDREWS GIBSON in Peru, she married the late Glen<br />

BOETTJER in November 1942.<br />

She was a retired registered nurse from Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. She was a<br />

memvber of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru, and the Women of the Moose.<br />

Survivors include one son, Glen BOETTJER, Cincinnati, Ohio, two daughters, Cindy<br />

VROOMAN, Peru, Debra EILER, Peru, one brother, Clifton ANDREWS, Charlotte, N.C., one<br />

sister, Joane MOORE, McFarland, N.C., eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.<br />

Preceding in death with her husband are two daughters and four brothers.<br />

Services are schedued for 11:30 a.m. Friday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru.<br />

Pastor Robert Koch will officiate. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Luthera<br />

Cemetery, Peru.<br />

May 8, 1938 - Dec. 25, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Dewey DAMRON, 58, Peru, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at his home.<br />

Born to Bert and Audele HOWARD DAMRON in Prestonsburg, Ky., he lived most of<br />

his life in the <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> area.<br />

He married the late June Alice HOCKETT on June 30, 1979. He had previously married<br />

and divorced Bertha HALE.<br />

He was a machinist and set-up maintenance machinist for several years for <strong>Fulton</strong><br />

Industries, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

He was a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, <strong>Rochester</strong>,<br />

Fraternal Order of Eagles, <strong>Rochester</strong>and Peru, and the Moose Lodge, Peru.<br />

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Audie) RODRGUEZ, Warsaw, Mrs. Martin<br />

(Sandra) BALDWIN, Peru, three sons, Dewayne K. DAMRON, Pampa, Texas, Sam HALE,<br />

Warsaw, Junior HALE, North Webster, seven sisters, [Judes CROUSSORE, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Mrs.<br />

Harrold (Annie) LEWIS, Macy, Mrs. Richard (Beatrice) GILLILAND, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Dottie<br />

MAYHEW, Warsaw, Mrs. Ed (Lottie) SMOKER, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Mrs Jim (Ellen) CONLEY,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, Mrs. Marty (Sue) SHUEY, Rensselaer]; one brother [and sister-in-law, Carl and Rachel<br />

DAMRON, Rocheser], eleven grandchildren and Ines C HICKS, a special companion of 35 years.<br />

Preceding in death with his wife [are his mother, in 1971, father, in 1972, his wife, in<br />

1992, a son, Bert Richard DAMRON, in 1986, and five brothers, Luther DAMRON, in 1935,<br />

Clifford DAMRON, in 1940, Eddie DAMRON, in 1946, Johnny DAMRON in 1948, and Burl<br />

DAMRON, in 1971].<br />

Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> Pastor Richard THOMPSON will officiate. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday and<br />

after 1 p.m. Saturday until services. Burial will be at the <strong>Rochester</strong> Citizens Cemetery.Barbara I.<br />

Barbara L. MATTHEWSON, 76, Monterey, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph<br />

Hospital of Marshall <strong>County</strong>, Plymouth, following an illess.<br />

Arrangements are pending at the Bonine Funeral Home, Culver.
