Joseph E. Sanderson<br />

Oct. 26, 1920 - Sept. 24, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Joseph E. SANDERSON, 75, Greenwood, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Beech<br />

Grove.<br />

Born in Delphi, he married Nina STERRETT on Dec. 31, 1937; she survives. A U.S.<br />

Navy veteran, he was a welding engineer for Mobil Chemical in Florida for 15 years before<br />

retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Delphi Methodist Church.<br />

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Barry SANDERSON, Greenwood,<br />

Bradley SANDERSON, Warsaw and Jeffry SANDERSON, Saranac, Mich; a daughter, Barbra<br />

HARLEY, Goshen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a<br />

brother James SANDERSON, Tulsa, Okla., and a sister Ruth HIGH, Kokomo. He was preceded<br />

in death by a son Barney SANDERSON.<br />

Memorial services are pending at a future date. Wilson St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel is<br />

handling the arrangements.<br />

Oct. 18, 1943 - Sept. 26, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Julia A. DEAN, 52, Tippecanoe, died at 4:05 a.m. Thursday at Kosciusko Community<br />

Hospital, Warsaw, following an illness.<br />

Born in Tippecanoe to Clifton and Ruth SWIHART BAILEY, she married Thomas L.<br />

DEAN on June 15, 1963 in Daleville; he survives. A 1962 graduate of Tippecanoe High School<br />

she retired from R.R. Donnelly & Sons Co., Warsaw, in 1984.<br />

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Jennifer) KADIS,<br />

Pembroke Pines, Fla., two sons, Darrell and wife Joan DEAN, Etna Green, Alan DEAN,<br />

Plymouth, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Frederick and wife<br />

Catherine BAILEY, San Clemente, Calif., and Douglas BAILEY, Mishawaka. She was preceded<br />

in death by her parents and a son Wesley L. DEAN.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Pastor<br />

Dennis L. BOLLENBACHER officiating. Burial will be at the Walnut Church of the Brethren<br />

Cemetery, southeast of Argos. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and<br />

from 9 a.m. Monday through the hour of service.<br />

Hazel F. Holloway<br />

Hazel F. HOLLOWAY, 88, 6801 North South St., Talma, died at 6:51 a.m. today at the<br />

Life Care Center, <strong>Rochester</strong>, following an illness. Arrangements are pending at Foster & Good<br />

Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>.
