Raymond W. PARMLEY, 67, Fort Myers, Fla., died at 1:19 p.m. Wednesday at his
home.
He was born in Gary, to Wallace W. and Helen GRABOWSKI PARMLEY. He was
married to Carol E. MILLS, who survives. He was a retired pipe fitter and member of the Pipe
Fitter Union Local 597. He lived in LaPorte before moving to Florida.
Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Sue TRIGG, Rochester; three sons, Randy and
Wayne [PARMLEY], both of LaPorte, and Terry [PARMLEY], Michigan City; thirteen
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Carol HATHAWAY. Preceding in death
was one grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haverstock Chapel, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte,
with the Rev. Wayne ROSSON officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Lake Cemetery, LePorte.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and before the services Wednesday.
Mauna F. Shultz
June 8, 1904 - April 5, 1996
Mauna Faye SHULTZ, 91, formerly of Mexico, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday at Rochester
Health Care Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio, to Hamilton and Jennie BREWER PIATT. In
April 1923 at Maysville, Ky., she married Ernest P. SHULTZ who died in April 1967. She was a
homemaker.
Surviving are 11 children, Alma SEASE, Redding, Calif.; Edward [SHULTZ],
Huntington; Sarah MIKESELL, Peru; Pauline WAHAB, Peru; Eldon [SHULTZ], Mexico; Lois
DeFORD, Rochester; Teresa SIXBEY, Chili; Donald [SHULTZ], Deedsville, Malcolm
[SHULTZ], Wichester, Tenn.; Delore STAPLETON, ount Sterling, Ky.; and Karla WOLFE,
Mexico; forty-four grandchildren; sixty-six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren;
one sister, Dorothy LAND, LaPorte; and three brothers, Foster and Bunn [PIATT], both of
Florida, and Taft [PIATT], Missouri. Preceding in death with her husband are one son, Marion
[SHULTZ]; one grandson; one great-grandson and one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Ennie
BURNA and Stella PIATT, and one brother, Charles [PIATT].
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Revs.
Lowell BURRUS and Lawrence SEE officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery,
Mexico. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
