Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.<br />

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, for Joesphine<br />

MYERS, 86, 9630 S. Hillcrest Lane, Claypool.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Randy PACKARD will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery.<br />

Friends may call from1 p.m. until services Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made<br />

to the American Cancer Society.<br />

Mrs. Myers died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She<br />

was born in Marion to Hershie M. and Drusilla BODKINS SHERRON. On June 23, 1928, in<br />

Marion, she married Clarence MORRIS, who died in 1957. She later married Lewis MYERS Jr.,<br />

who preceded her in death.<br />

She was retired from General Tire, Wabash, and had also worked at Dailey Brothers Shoe<br />

Co., Marion. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Warsaw.<br />

Surviving is one sister, Hazel BURMAN, Marion. Preceding in death were several<br />

sisters and brothers.<br />

Richard L. Lackey<br />

April 18, 1935 - March 27, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Richard L. LACKEY, 60, 5787 West 700 South, Claypool, died on Wednesday at his<br />

residence.<br />

He was born in Mentone to James W. and Mary Ann HUFFMAN LACKEY. He was a<br />

lifetime resident of Mentone and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.<br />

Surviving are his parents, James W. and Mary Ann LACKEY; six daughters, Judy<br />

PURVIS, Chris SCHILLING and Sherry WALTERS, all of North Manchester; Julie<br />

WAKEFIELD and Connie HENSLEY, both of Huntington; and Donna OLIVER, Columbia City;<br />

one son, Robert LACKEY, LaGrange; twelve grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Marilyn)<br />

McSHERRY, Burket; Mrs. Clay (Sandra) CRADDOCK, Zephyrhills, Fla.; and Mrs. Jerry (Nancy)<br />

LEEDY, Warsaw;; one brother, James L. LACKEY, Columbia City.<br />

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev.<br />

David CALLIGHAN officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Friends may call from<br />

2 p.m. through the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.<br />

Cecil William WYNN, 66, 25862 Coolidge Ave., Elkhart, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at<br />

Stewart, Fla., following an illness.<br />

Arrangements are pending at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
