L. Hadden STEWART, 71, 531 West Ninth St., died Thursday at his residence. He had<br />

been in failing health.<br />

He was born in Roachdale, to Lewis H. and Helen FORD STEWART. He lived most of<br />

his life in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong>.<br />

He owned Stewart Tax Service and was a former <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> Republican Precinct<br />

Committeeman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.<br />

Surviving are four sons, William F. [STEWART], Marion; Robert H. [STEWART],<br />

Shelbyville; Stephen D [STEWART], Muncie, and Jonathan E. [STEWART], Pendleton; one<br />

adopted son, Michael A. [STEWART], Anderson, and five grandchildren. Preceding in death<br />

were one son, Jeffrey A. [STEWART], who died in 1964, and one brother, James R.<br />

[STEWART], who died in 1976.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zimmermn Family Funeral Home, with the Rev.<br />

Donald BRENNEMAN officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery where<br />

military graveside services will be conducted by the <strong>Rochester</strong> American Legion and VFW posts.<br />

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m Tuesday.<br />

Aug. 11, 1913 - Feb. 10, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Helen Lucille HOLLAR, 82, 8232 E. 16th Road, Argos, died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday at<br />

Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Marshall <strong>County</strong> in Plymouth.<br />

She was born in Bourbon to George and Fannie (MILLER) WATKINS. On March 20,<br />

1935 in Plymouth she married John K. HOLLAR, who survives<br />

She was a lifetime resident of the Argos and Bourbon areas. She was a homemaker, and<br />

a member of the Jehovah Witness Church in <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Melba) HAMMAN, Argos;<br />

six sons, Richard and Delores HOLLAR; Lowell HOLLAR, William HOLLAR, James and Karen<br />

HOLLAR, Carl and Clara HOLLAR, all of Argos; and Harvey and Connie HOLLAR,<br />

Mishawaka; thirteen grndchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine NELSON,<br />

Elkhart; Mary BESSON, Warsaw; Jane NEFF, Goshen; and one brother, Robert WATKINS, Lake<br />

Placid, Fla.<br />

Preceding in death with her parents were a granddaughter, Donna TREBER; a greatgranddaughter,<br />

Emily TREBER; and a brother, Devoe WATKINS.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grossman Funeral Home in Argos with<br />

Bruce LENZ officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos. Friends may call<br />

from 4-8 p. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.<br />

Memorials may be left to the American Heart Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
