Richard F. RIEWOLDT, 78, 7020 East 25 North, Logansport, died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday
at Memorial Hospital, Logansport.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., to Richard Eric and Alma LANG RIEWOLDT. On Sept. 3,
1955, in Logansport, he married Nell JOHNSON, who survives. He was retired from Delco
Electronics as a tool and die maker. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American
Veterans and American Legion Post No. 60, Logansport, served in World War II as a scout and
received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was an avid artist and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving with his wife are one son, Charles RIEWOLDT; two daughters, Pat ARONE
and Patty Ann JOHNSON; four grandsons, Joel ARONE, Jeremy JOHNSON, and Richard F. and
David A. RIEWOLDT; one granddaughter, Jerilyn SMITH; one great-grandson, Nicholas
ARONE; and two great-graddaughters, Lizie and Page SMITH.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home,
Logansport, with the Rev. William Art MALONEY officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope
Cemetery, Logansport. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion
Post No. 60. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m today at the funeral home. Memorials may be
made to the Veterans Home, Marion.

emergency room at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, Mich., following a sudden illness.

Christina L. AULT, 23, 1340 Holloway Drive, Plymouth, died at 10:38 a.m. Friday
following a traffic accident in Marshall County.

Margaret ASHTON, 84, Life Care Center of Rochester, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at
Woodlaw Hosptal.
She was a former resident of 300 E. Fourth St.
