Sucevilla F. RODGERS, 84, Plymouth, died at 4:45 p.m Saturday at Miller’s Merry<br />

Manor, Plymouth<br />

Born in Prentice, Miss., to Daniel and Annie PRICE FAIRLEY, she married Curtis<br />

RODGERS, who died in 1980. She lived in the Montrey area and in the Chicago area prior to<br />

moving to Plymouth in 1982. She was a retired clothing sales clerk at Carres Clothing Store,<br />

Chicago.<br />

She is survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five nieces and<br />

three nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, William LEWIS, and two brothers.<br />

Services will be at 2 pm. Thursday at Bonine Funeral Home, 104 Lakeshore Dr., Culver.<br />

Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey. <strong>The</strong>re is no visitation.<br />

Sylvester W. Hedington<br />

Jan. 24, 1909 - Dec. 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Sylvester W. “Chub” HEDINGTON, 87, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Luthera<br />

Hospital of Indiaa Fort Wayne.<br />

Born in Kosciusko <strong>County</strong> to John and Myrtle VANPHERSON HEDINGTON, he<br />

married Flo SHOEMAKER on Dec. 7, 1932 in Warsaw; she survives. He was a farmer and also<br />

drove a school bus for 29 years.<br />

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Martha) YATES,<br />

Warsaw, Mrs. Larry (Nancy) MELLOTT, Etna Green; one son, Joe and wife Linda<br />

HEDINGTON, Waraw; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Noble and<br />

wife Faye HEDINGTON, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Noel HEDINGTON.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m Friday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev. Don<br />

POYSER officiating. Burial wil be in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine. Vsitation is from 4-8 p.m<br />

today at King Memorial Home, Mentone.<br />

Gaylord Mosher<br />

Aug. 11, 1921 - Dec. 17, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Gaylord MOSHER, 75, Akron, died at 11:24 p.m Tuesday in the emergency room at<br />

Woodlawn Hospital, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Born in Rock Island, Ill., to Alfonzo and Ora Belle HUNT MOSHER, he married Nellie<br />

STERK on May 13, 1952 in Chicago. She died Feb. 15, <strong>1996</strong>. He was a veteran of World War II,<br />

having served in the Army and was retired from Bay State Abrasive, North Manchester.<br />

He is survived by a sister, Beverly ROCK, Rock Island, Ill. He was preceded in death by<br />

two sisters and a brother.<br />

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev. Douglas<br />

WITT officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday at<br />

Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
