Sept. 14, 1911 - June 2, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Anna ROGERS, 84, Francescville, died at 7:22 a.m. Sunday at Pulaski Memorial<br />

Hospital, Winamac.<br />

Born in Pulaski <strong>County</strong> to Chris and Louisa KOEBCKE WESTPHAL, she married John<br />

F. ROGERS in 1933. She lived in Francesville all of her life, working as a homemaker, and was a<br />

member of the St. James Salem United Methodist Church of Christ.<br />

Preceding in death were one son, one brother, and one sister.<br />

Surviving are her husband, John F. ROGERS, Francesville; three daughters, Donna<br />

WADYCKI, Westmont, Charlene GUTWEIN, Rensselaer, and Carol BURTON, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one<br />

son, Harold ROGERS, Francesville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and<br />

two step-great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m Wednesday at the Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville,<br />

with Rev. Sharon K. MADDOX officiating. Burial will be Wednesday at the St. James Salem<br />

Cemetery, Francesville. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 p.m. Wednesday at<br />

the funeral home.<br />

Memorials can be made to the St. James Salem Building Fund or the American Heart<br />

Fund.<br />

Margie Cole<br />

March 10, 1952 - May 31, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Margie COLE, 44, 320 Ruthie Drive, Knox, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday at University of<br />

Little Rock, Little Rock, Ark.<br />

She was born in Gary to Demp and Margaret Lucille PARISH, who preceded her in death<br />

She was a housewife in Knox where she lived for 15 years.<br />

She was raised in the Shults-Lewis Children’s Home, Valparaiso, and attended Morgan<br />

High School. She worked many hours as a volunteer at the Caring Place, Valparaiso, which<br />

helped battered women and children.<br />

Survivors include three daughters, Tonya COLE, Knox; Michelle COLE, Terre Haute,<br />

and Trela GOOD, Marion; a son, Joe COLE, Knox; friend, Tom EVERAGE, Searcy, Ark.; two<br />

sisters, Peggy ADAIR, Los Angeles, and May PARISH, Kentucky; three brothers, Eddie PARISH<br />

and Marvin PARISH, both of Madisonville, Ky., and Shelby ADAIR, Cracker, Mo.; foster-sister,<br />

Kathy CARR, Florida; foster-parents, John and Louise JUDGE, Hobart.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Braman and Son Memorial Chapel, 108 S. Main St.,<br />

Knox, with Rev. James PRADKE officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Knox.<br />

Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Tuesday.
