Evelyn J. DURHAM, 80, 318 East Third St., Peru, died at 11:48 p.m. Sunday at Dukes<br />

Memorial Hosptal, Peru.<br />

Born to Harvey and Louise JOHNSON, she married Rolland D. DURHAM on Sept. 17,<br />

1932; he died May 14, 1973. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and had retired<br />

from Senger Dry Goods.<br />

She is survived by two sons Gerald “Duke” DURHAM, Peru, Larry DURHAM,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; five grandchildren Dawn ALBRIGHT, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Lynne EBERLE, Warsaw, Kirk<br />

DURHAM, Lake Forest, Calif., Gregg DURHAM, Fishers, Heather OCANA, Guam; four greatgrandchildren<br />

Adam ALBRIGHT, Whitney ALBRIGHT, both of <strong>Rochester</strong>, Coady OCANA,<br />

Tyler OCANA, both of Guam, and a sister, Mildred FISHER, Peru. She was preceded in death by<br />

her parents, husband and one brother Floyd JOHNSON.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84<br />

West Main St., Peru, with the Rev. Robert KOCH officiating. Burial is at Mt. Hope Cemetery.<br />

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.<br />

Joseph F. Clemons<br />

Aug. 13, 1935 - Nov. 13, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Joseph Frank CLEMONS, 61, Silver Lake, died at 12 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview<br />

Hospital, Ft. Wayne, where he had been a patient since Oct. 28 following heart by-pass surgery.<br />

Born in Peru to Haskel and Vola MAYNARD CLEMONS, he married Sharon K.<br />

CUMBERLAND on Oct. 18, 1959 in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong>; she survives. He had been a resident of<br />

Silver Lake since 1961 having come from Peru.<br />

He retired after 29 years with Peabody, North Manchester, and was employed by<br />

Majestic Company, Huntington, where he worked in the maintenance department for 11 years. He<br />

was a member and Pastor of the Full Gospel House of Prayer, Akron. He had servd with the U.S.<br />

Army in Korea and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 204, and also past<br />

president of the union.<br />

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Billy J. and wife Sebrena<br />

CLEMONS, North Manchester, James D. CLEMONS, North Manchester, Thomas R.<br />

CLEMONS, North Silver Lake; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dave (Emma)<br />

SONAFRANK, Peru, Mrs. Lacy (Helen) CARPENTER, Akron; and a brother Robert Carl and<br />

wife Bonnie CLEMONS, Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers,<br />

Howard and Harold Dean CLEMONS.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Foser & Good Funeral Home, Akron,<br />

with the Rev. Frank WHITAKER officiating. Burial will be in Gaerte Cemetery, southeast of<br />

Akron. Visitation is from 4-8 Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
